Coach James Kiely has confirmed the leadership group for the upcoming 2026–2027 season, naming Connor Slader and Finlay Ormiston as the club's Co-Captains.

What a weekend for Strathie.

Fresh from engaging with hundreds of people at the Angus Show, we were honoured to receive the Community Impact Award 2026 at the Voluntary Action Angus Community Awards.

This award recognises organisations that deliver significant and lasting positive change within their community, and it reflects the efforts of so many people who make Strathmore Rugby Club far more than just a rugby club.

From our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters, to our sponsors and community partners, this award belongs to everyone who gives their time, energy and passion to make Inchmacoble Park a place where people can play, learn, connect and thrive.

Over the last year we’ve:
🏉 Been crowned National 4 Championsand consolidated well into National 3.
Been voted SRU Caledonia regional club and National Community club of the year
🏉 Continued to grow opportunities for boys, girls, women and men
🏉 Supported community groups and charities across Angus
🏉 Expanded our work through partnership working with Strathmore Community Rugby Trust and Inchmacoble Development Trust
🏉 Provided a platform for sport, wellbeing, volunteering and lifelong friendships

A special thank you to Voluntary Action Angus for recognising the impact of our volunteers and the wider Strathie family.
