The Opportunity
The Ancient Links Golf Company is recruiting for various Greenkeeping vacancies at Forfar Golf Club.
Experienced Greenkeepers:
We are recruiting experienced Greenkeepers to play a key role in delivering the highest standards of course presentation, carrying out a broad range of greenkeeping and grounds maintenance duties under the direction of the Course Superintendent, and contributing to the smooth, day‑to‑day operations with this growing Greenkeeping team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain and set up the course so it is always in the best possible condition.
Carry out turf maintenance, construction, aeration and renovation works.
Operate and care for a range of turf machinery safely and effectively.
Support environmental stewardship, including pest and disease control and habitat management.
Work collaboratively with a skilled team, always putting health, safety and the golfer’s experience first.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications across all experience levels. Depending on experience, you may bring:
Qualifications such as a Sports Turf certificate (Level 2–4 or equivalent), Chainsaw and PA1/PA2a/PA6 spraying certifications.
Proven experience with turf maintenance machinery, fertilisers, top-dressing and chemical operations.
Skills ranging from daily course set-up to project management, renovation planning and tournament preparation.
A positive attitude, reliability, attention to detail and the commitment to working outdoors in all conditions.
Experience of supporting the leadership of motivated, efficient Greenkeeping teams.
A full driving licence is essential.
