Wednesday's game marked the end of a gruelling first season in the The Northern Football Alliance Premier Division.

It's been a very steep learning curve for us on and off the pitch but we've smashed the targets we set at the start of the season and are extremely proud to finish 8th in the league.

The effort and commitment shown by the lads has been outstanding especially during the tough run in. Lads have stepped up, played through injuries and gave it their all to get us safe and help us climb the table despite everything thrown at us.

Absolutely delighted with the news that we have gained elevation for the second season in a row via PPG.

Although not the way we wanted to do it, our early season form proved just enough to get us up!

The lads thoroughly deserve it for all their efforts despite everything that's gone on over the last 12 month 👏

Looking forward to lots of new challenges ahead, in a league filled with very decent, well established teams.

It's a fitting end to West Jesmond AFC as we know it! The opportunities presented through our merger with West Moor Juniors FC signal the start of a new and exciting chapter for the club. A new name, a new ground, exciting talent coming through the ranks and a community behind us ⚽️

Next season we will be proudly known as West Moor and Jesmond AFC.

West Jesmond AFC are looking to add a few players to our squad for the 2019/20 season.

We are a well established, successful and competitive squad and are looking for lads that will help take us to the next level as we enter our first season in the Northern Alliance League.

If you're committed, willing to put the effort in, have a decent footballing CV and want a challenge drop us a message.

In addition to football we are also a very sociable side. We're based out the Lonsdale pub in West Jesmond and go back after every game for a few beers etc. This on top of monthly nights out, fundraisers and other events.

We cater to all backgrounds, from students and teachers to boiler fixers and window cleaners.
