🎾 Ena & Bill Davies Mixed Doubles Open Tournament 2026 🎾

Entries are now invited for our annual Ena & Bill Davies Mixed Doubles Open Tournament, which will be held on Sunday 19th July 2026.

Ena and Bill’s vision, dedication and hard work were instrumental in establishing the club we enjoy today. They remained loyal and valued members for many years, and this annual Adult Mixed Open Tournament is held in their memory. 🎾

This is an open tournament, so players from both our club and other clubs are welcome to enter. There will also be a social tournament running alongside the main event, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a day of tennis.

📅 Tournament Date: Sunday 19th July 2026
📅 Closing Date for Entries: Friday 17th July 2026

There promises to be some excellent tennis, plenty of fun, and a great club atmosphere throughout the day.

A huge thank you to Hilary Nellis, Trevor Brennan, Mike Cocke and Jon Bond for giving up your valuable time to help promote our club at the Flitwick Family Fun Day this weekend.

Our Beds Tennis Men’s 60+ Team were in action at this afternoon for their first county match of the summer.

The team battled through a rainy afternoon on the clay, with congratulations to Paul Hammond and John Kitchener, who won both their matches.

Commiserations to Hamish Galloway and Pete Simmonds, who narrowly lost the deciding rubber 6-2 7-6.

A great effort from the whole team in tough conditions. 👏🏽

Congratulations to who took the win this time, 3-2. 🎾

During National Volunteers' Week, we'd also like to give a special shout-out to Hamish, who'll be up bright and early on Sunday morning volunteering as Race Director at after a long afternoon competing on the clay.

Thank you to Hamish and all the volunteers who give their time to help sport thrive in our communities. 👏🙌

Our annual Ena & Bill Davies Mixed Doubles Open Tournament will be held on Sunday 19th July 2026 and entries are invited.

Ena & Bill’s brilliant initiative was instrumental in establishing the Club we enjoy today and they remained stalwart members for many years. The Adult Mixed Open Tournament is held annually in their memory🎾

This is an “open” tournament and anyone from our Club or outside is eligible to enter. There will also be a social tournament running alongside the main event.

Closing date for entries is Friday 17th July 2026.

There should be some great tennis and plenty of fun so please come along and support this event 🎾👍
