We are running a football tournament for the local schools to coincide with the Village Vibes day on 5th Sept.
There will be lots of people from the local area for the footy and lots of local people for the festival so a great opportunity to get your name out there with a banner or two and to sponsor the medals and trophies for the kids!

Our own future England stars are looking for sponsorship for their new kit. Both our u6 and u7s teams will need kit for the new season and we are looking for local business who may be interested in sponsoring them. We play games against all the other local schools across Bedfordshire so plenty of exposure over the next few years. Let us know if this would be of interest.

the first time felt so nice, we had to do it twice!

Not only did they win their second tournament of the season, they went back to back!

GP United u8 stormed to victory today at the annual Silsoe tournament at Wrest Park, conceding just one goal on the way to the final.

A 3-0 win in their opening game set the tone, followed by strong 2-0 and 3-0 wins in the next two games.

The tempo dropped slightly in the last group game, salvaging a 1-1 draw before a comfortable but nervy 2-0 win in the final.

Some exceptional performances, with even more impressive football played throughout the day.

The perfect way to finish off the season! UP THE GP!!!

We have had some interest in starting up some fun football sessions for kids looking to join Greenfield & Pulloxhill Academy reception classes in September. If there was enough people interest we would look to put a session at the park on Saturday mornings. A great time was had by all at today's Ramsey Manor school summer tournament held at Barton Rovers FC. It was super hot but the winner was certainly football (and probably the ice cream van!)

GP United U8 added more silverware to the cabinet today with a very well deserved Cup win at the annual Ramsey Manor tournament held at Barton Rovers.

From the start the boys looked up for it, with a resounding 3-0 win in their opening game.

Comfortable 4-2 and 1-0 wins in subsequent games ensured the boys finished unbeaten and top of their group.

What followed was emphatic wins in the semi finals (2-0) and 6-0 in the finals.

By far the best team on the day, no one even got close as they steamrollered their way to tournament success in 2026!

It was our end of season celebration/awards night/party last night with a full house at The Compasses with over 40 GP players in attendance to celebrate their season in style, receive trophies for excellent work and a medal to remember the season by.

A massive thank you to all those that attended, to the coaches for all their hard work through the season and to the parents for setting a great example on the touchline. 👏👏👏

Once again we say goodbye to our u9s group as they head off to middle school. They are a great bunch of kids and we wish them well for the future and hope that they continue to play and enjoy their football.

As you can see the kids all had smiles on their faces but its that time of year when the coaches are ready for a well deserved pint! 🤣

Evening everyone. On Saturday, we have our end of season awards dinner to celebrate all the achievements of nearly 50 children who play within our teams and to say farewell to our eldest group as they look to move on to middle school to be held at The Compasses with their continued support. 👍

Our club is 100% volunteer-led with parents making sure that as many local children get the opportunity to play football with their school friends.

If there any local businesses that would be able to donate a raffle prize to help us need some much needed funds then any donations would be much appreciated. 🙏

A massive well done to our U6 group (year 1) who had a great time playing in the Raynsford school tournament at the weekend. They were playing some strong teams but still came away with some good results and performances and most importantly lots of smiles. They all look forward to starting regular football next season once the current tournament season concludes!

⚽ GP United U8 ⚽

It’s been a stop start season for the team, with the weather playing its part and limiting the number of fixtures compared to last year.

Despite that, one thing hasn’t changed, this team continues to work incredibly hard every week and their development is clear to see. There have been some brilliant moments of quality throughout the season that everyone should be proud of.

With just 4 games left, the focus now is on finishing strong and going out with a bang!

Let’s keep pushing, keep improving, and enjoy every minute! ❤️⚽
