The return to Cae-y-Castell this Saturday as we welcome Wallasey RFC for our second pre-season fixture of the 26/27 campaign 💪🏻

After opening pre-season on the road against Porthmadog, the boys are back on home soil and will be looking to build on the work put in during the opening weeks of preparation. 🖤💛

Another opportunity to test ourselves, get minutes in the legs and continue building towards the new season.

The are en route to Gwynedd to face Porthmadog in their first pre-season test of the 26/27 campaign 💪🏻

A brilliant opportunity for players to experience their first game, to shake off some old rust or get ready for another season of this amazing sport.

The travel over to Gwynedd to face Clwb Rygbi Porthmadog for their first pre-season game of the 26/27 campaign 💪🏻

Porthmadog are hosting an event on their pitch after the game as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations 👏🏻

CAPTAINCY

We are very proud to announce our Captain and Vice-Captain for the 2026/27 campaign!

Craig McGuire earns the title of captain, although new to the club last season Craig truly embodied our club motto, Ymdrech a Bair lwyddiant; Effort brings success. His leadership and dedication on and off the pitch for the are one of the many reasons he's been chosen to lead the charge for the this season, Da Iawn, Craig 🙌🏻

Gareth Parry takes the role of Vice-Captain, an absolute professional and a natural born leader with a wealth of experience in the game, Gaz is a no brainer for such a vital role, Da Iawn, Gareth 💪🏻

Captain Craig🎙️:
"I’m incredibly proud and honoured to be chosen as captain for the upcoming season. This role means a lot to me, and I promise to lead with commitment, respect, and determination every time we step onto the pitch.
