As you all know RAMIT player Beefy409 is in Japan climbing Mount Fuji 🗻 for various charities including us. I’ll share his journey just in case you don’t follow his page.

A massive congratulations to our Co-Captain Gav Lewis not only for representing Wales at the European Touch Rugby Championships in Vichy, France but being voted in as scoring the try of the tournament!! Well in Gav, Everyone at RAMIT Rugby is very proud. 🏉 🥇🏆

🏉 THE NEW RAMIT RUGBY SEASON IS ALMOST HERE! 🏉

As the new season approaches, there’s plenty to be excited about at RAMIT Rugby.

We’re currently organising our annual fixture for Remembrance Weekend, before turning our attention to the Emirates Dubai 7s, where, after reaching the semi-final last year, we genuinely believe we have a squad capable of going even further and challenging for the trophy we all want to bring home. 🏆

This year we’ve assembled an incredibly strong Vets squad, including a 24 capped Italian international winger, as well as Ospreys winger with 152 appearances and 195 points, alongside a host of talented players from England, Wales, Scotland and Italy.

For the first time, we’re also entering a team into the 7s competition, as we look to grow RAMIT Rugby and establish ourselves as a regular name on the 7s circuit for years to come.

But RAMIT has always been about far more than rugby.

Everything we do is about using rugby to raise awareness and funds for mental health and su***de prevention, and we’re giving businesses and individuals the opportunity to join us on that journey through our 2026/27 kit sponsorship.

Several sponsorship positions have already been taken, but there are still some fantastic opportunities available to have your business represented on our kit throughout the coming season.

Although we were in Leicester at the weekend, the whole team was keeping a close eye on our friend, teammate and this year’s co-captain Gav Lewis as he proudly represented the Wales Touch Association Men’s Over 40s team at the European Championships in Vichy, France.

After a hard fought semi-final defeat to a strong French side, Wales showed tremendous character to bounce back and defeat Scotland 4–2 in the third-place play-off, securing the bronze medal.

A fantastic achievement for Gav and the entire Wales squad. Everyone at RAMIT Rugby is incredibly proud of you.

What a day that was! 🏉💙

After proudly pulling on a RAMIT Rugby shirt for many years, Daniel Yeow wanted to celebrate his 40th birthday in the best way he knows how, with a game of rugby surrounded by old teammates, friends and the people he’s met through the game over the years.

So, he put together a team to take on RAMIT… and what a fantastic occasion it turned out to be!

Danny is one of those guys who everyone enjoys having around. His popularity certainly showed, as his team had more than enough players, allowing us to borrow a few just so we could field a full side!

The match itself was a brilliant contest. It was so close that I’m not even sure anyone knew the final score but the truth is, nobody cared.

The day wasn’t about winning or losing. It was about bringing people together, catching up with old friends, making new ones, sharing plenty of laughs, raising awareness of mental health, and celebrating a great friend reaching a special milestone.

Days like this are exactly what RAMIT Rugby is all about. Rugby has an incredible way of bringing people together, creating friendships that last a lifetime and reminding us that nobody has to face life’s challenges alone.

Danny, thank you for letting RAMIT be part of your special day. We hope you had an unforgettable time, and judging by the smiles on everyone’s faces, it’s safe to say everyone else did too.
