ITS A GIRL 🩷

We are pleased to announce that our old friend RIVER TYNE has had a filly foal by PLANTEUR who stands at Chapel Stud!
River won 3 races and was placed 15 times! She was a real consistent mare for us. We will all look forward to seeing her progeny on the track in years to come!
Congratulations to her Owners Tony & Holly Allan, she is adorable, may the future be bright! 🥰🩷

We have a very special horse looking for a very special home…

Northern Poet or Tom as he is known (named after the handsome Tom Hardy as he is such a good looking horse) is in search of a new home to start a new career!
Tom is looking for a particular home with a competent rider. Although he is predominantly a good ride he can be very sharp when fresh. He has some special moves, which he sometimes uses when you least expect it! Most of our riders have been dropped by Tom at some point in his career! They all still love him though .

He also can also be grumpy in the stable but we feel with plenty of turn out or either living out this shouldn’t be a problem.
Tom is a lovely moving horse & a brilliant jumper, we really think he could do very well in any aspect of the RoR world and end up at Aintree. He won Best Turned Out MANY times at the races and people always commented on what a good looking horse he is.

We are looking for someone who likes a challenge, doesn’t mind a sharper horse and will give him a job to do and although we wouldn’t mind him having the odd hunt day, Team Chase etc we don’t really want him ragged all over the country on rough ground twice a week for 6 months of the year!

We would ideally like him to stay local as his owners would love to visit and keep in touch but this can be discussed if the perfect home arose. He was a fabulous horse for his owners winning 7 races & gave them many great days out & they would just like to know how gets on in his new job!

Tom is Approx 16.2hh & 11 years old. He is not a sweet dope on a rope! He will keep you on your toes!

FONTWELL WINNER 🥇

Great to have our first winner of the ‘26/‘27 season with GONE COUNTRY breaking his maiden at Fontwell under a superb ride by James Davies! 🥇🖤💛
Eddie as he is known at home stepped up in trip on this occasion, he travelled and jumped beautifully throughout the race, took it up 2 out and won convincingly! There will be a lot of fun to have with this horse especially chasing!
Huge congratulations to his Owner Mr Jack Holman who unfortunately was out of the country so his mum Lisa and younger brother Oscar accepted the trophy, Rider/Groom Hannah Payne and Team Gifford 💙
Eddie also WON the Best Turned Out 🤩 Well done to Kirsty Huff who led him up! 😊

What a glorious sunny evening at Fontwell ☀️

We had APPROACHING STORM making her handicap debut over a new extended trip of 3m2f where she finished a very pleasing 3rd place just beaten a neck out of 2nd under Tabitha Worsley! 🥉
Florence as she is called at home ran a little green the first circuit but once she passed one horse she almost started to run away with Tabs! 😂 A couple of novicey jumps on the way round but stayed on beautifully at the end! It was a really promising run! 💙💚🤍
Huge well done to her Owners The Southdowns Partnership & Lizzy Skidmore who rides and looks after her at home! 😊
Also another Best Turned out for Kirsty Huff who drove Florence to the races! 🤩
