FBC are very thankful for the generous donation from the VE Day pop up cafe which will be used to start up indoors bowls at the Town Hall later this year.

FBC Opening Day Saturday 26th April 2025
Arrive at Green at 1:30pm. Membership fees of £40 will be taken on the day please. Official Flag raising and 1st roll of the jack followed by Club photograph (Please wear whites and greys)
Opening match at 2pm with post match tea on completion.
New members most welcome, equipment can be provided.

We have 5 returned tickets now available for the (FBC hosting) Burns Night Supper and Horse Racing night Friday 24th Jan commencing 6 for 6:30 pm start in the Town Hall. Tickets are £12 each, 3 course meal included BYOB. Please pm me if you require tickets. Thanks, Dave Clark

Following on from committee meeting held on Thursday, we can confirm that the Club will open for the season on Saturday 27th April 2024.

We will follow the usual format:-

Arrive 1.30 pm
Membership fees taken, this year fees are £40

Prior to the opening match there will be:
Raising the flag ceremony
Roll of first Jack (This year Kate Ryding will roll the Jack)
Official photographs of first roll and of the club members.

Opening game (weather permitting)
Post match tea on completion.

New members most welcome.

The weather's has won. Monday is cancelled. Make your own tea and cakes. The scheduled Open Day will be rescheduled. Apologies to all for whom this tumultuous event was to be their highlight of the weekend festivities. ☹️☹️☹️
