4 months of solid graft

I’ve been working closely with Ty for the past 4 months, we go to the gym together most evenings and if I’m honest, without knowing it he’s pushed me to do better. In January we looked at Ty’s eating habits, we adjusted them slightly by using the weekly average formula I’ve spoke about before allowing him to still eat the foods he wanted and never miss out on socialising. To go from no gym experience at all, to dropping over 10kg and completing a sub 75 minute Hyrox doubles with only 6 weeks notice I think deserved a lot of credit in itself.🔥

Ty has been so consistent in his nutrition and training for just over 4 months helping him to build lean muscle mass whilst losing over 10kg. Being one of my closest mates I’ve seen the progression and confidence the gym has given him. He recently said to me he has “so much more confidence and self respect,” because of the incredible progress he has made. I’ve seen first hand not only the physical but the mental benefits the gym has awarded him.🫡

In the slides you’ll see the progress Ty has made, a few photos from our Hyrox doubles last week and a little insight to what you can still (try🤣) to eat all whilst pushing towards your goals. On a personal note, I apologise because you’ve now caught the Hyrox bug but I’m proud of you mate, keep up the good work💪🏻

Most people think fat loss comes from the gym…
But that’s only a small piece of the puzzle.

Your daily calorie burn is mostly:
✔️ BMR (keeping you alive)
✔️ NEAT (your daily movement)

So if your goal is fat loss, don’t just train harder…

Move more throughout the day because you can’t out-train a sedentary lifestyle!🚶‍♂️

As the slides show, the gym is still important for creating that toned look but solely fat loss isn’t just about the gym.

It’s about what you do the other 23 hours of the day👀

Ignore these yoyo and low calorie diets, restricting yourself from nights out and social events eating the foods you want. The quicker you lose the weight the more likely it is to go back on!🤨

Slow, steady and consistent progress while not restricting yourself is the way you are going to change your life for the better!🔥

Week 6/52 ✅

Busy few weeks forgot to post last weeks, here’s what’s happened👇🏼

Added more compromised running into our programs in preparation for myself and second Hyrox doubles in Cardiff😅

Cancelled football = tough gym circuits🙄

5 new clients have filled the free for Feb promo spaces, that’s well underway, they’ve all had their free consultation and first session of four👍🏼

Trying to improve and vary meal prep🍓

New equipment in the gym meals new exercises for the team✌🏼

Overall, every single one of my clients has been consistent and followed their plans this year. This is not new year, new them, it’s just a habit we drive when they join us, it’s nothing new!!

First full week of 2026 over and out🫡 (1/52)

Good to be back in the gym with everyone working towards some of the same and some new goals, everyone’s focused on bettering themselves which is amazing to see. So keep it up, spaces still available for PT✌🏼

This is Sam…

Sam’s been with me just over a year now, these pictures were taken 8/9 months apart💪🏻

Let me tell you a little bit about Sam’s journey, he came to me knowing exercises in the gym but a little confused with how to put them together into a plan that was sustainable for him, his initial goal was to lose weight and tone up which you can see he absolutely smashed👏🏼We have worked around his hundreds of holidays a year to create a program which allows him to enjoy himself whilst staying on track with his goals🤣 The next step for Sam which again he is currently smashing is a bulk over the winter period to geo build more muscle before he cuts right down again in time for summer😁

What has Sam done?

✅ Been consistent with training, whether he has had 100% or 10% left after a long days work, he always gets himself to the gym to make that difference
✅ Stuck with a diet which allows him to still enjoy the food and drinks he loves
✅ Pushed himself when he’s in the gym to lift heavier, lift for longer and really push that progressive overload
✅ Enjoyed the process, we cut out exercises he did not enjoy!
✅ Found the perfect balance between pushing towards his goals and having a sociable lifestyle
✅ Maintained a good sleeping, training and nutrition pattern

What has Sam NOT done?

❌ Starved himself during the week so he can drink on a weekend
❌ Ate foods he hates
❌ Completed long pointless hours of cardio
❌ Hated every session
❌ Gone to the gym every single day for hours
❌ Missed out on holidays, social events and fun with friends and family

A massive well done to
Keep up the good work mate, results next summer will be crazy👏🏼
