SGPT IS COMING 👥

I’ve had some great feedback from my first SGPT group, so I’m opening one additional group from October.

SGPT is designed to give you the coaching, accountability and structure of personal training, whilst training alongside a small group of people.

It’s not a generic fitness class. You’ll still receive proper coaching, technique guidance and support to help you progress towards your goals.

Yes it’s about results and progression but the relationships between my current group is amazing and the community built within a month is truly amazing to see. If you want to be part of a great, supportive, motivating community to help you achieve your goals, my DMs are open for chat and for more information.

🏋️ If I wanted to lose ½ stone of weight, here’s what I’d do…

I wouldn’t extreme diet.

I wouldn’t cut out carbs.

And I wouldn’t spend hours doing cardio.

I’d focus on 3 simple things and do them consistently. 👇

1️⃣ Strength train 3–4x per week 🏋️

Strength training helps you build and maintain muscle while losing weight.

This is important because the goal isn’t just to make the scales go down — it’s to improve your body composition, strength and overall shape.

Building muscle can help you achieve that leaner, more defined look rather than simply becoming a smaller version of yourself.

2️⃣ Create a 400–550 calorie daily deficit 🍽️

Weight loss happens over time when you consistently use more energy than you consume.

A moderate calorie deficit gives you enough of a gap to make progress without having to drastically restrict your food.

I’d also make sure I have a good source of protein with every meal.

Protein can help keep you feeling fuller for longer and is important for maintaining and building muscle — especially when combined with strength training.

I’d also use the 80/20 rule allowing you to still enjoy the foods and drinks you love!

3️⃣ Aim for 8–12k steps per day 🚶

Don’t underestimate walking.

Getting your steps up increases the amount of energy you use throughout the day without putting the same demands on your body as lots of intense cardio.

It’s also something you can consistently maintain alongside your training.

The important part?

None of these things are magic.

It’s the consistency that gets the result. You don’t need a perfect week. You need to put enough good weeks together to create a noticeable change.

If you are struggling with fat loss, my DMs are open, message me to see if we can help you just as we’ve helped many others in their journeys!

4 months of solid graft

I’ve been working closely with Ty for the past 4 months, we go to the gym together most evenings and if I’m honest, without knowing it he’s pushed me to do better. In January we looked at Ty’s eating habits, we adjusted them slightly by using the weekly average formula I’ve spoke about before allowing him to still eat the foods he wanted and never miss out on socialising. To go from no gym experience at all, to dropping over 10kg and completing a sub 75 minute Hyrox doubles with only 6 weeks notice I think deserved a lot of credit in itself.🔥

Ty has been so consistent in his nutrition and training for just over 4 months helping him to build lean muscle mass whilst losing over 10kg. Being one of my closest mates I’ve seen the progression and confidence the gym has given him. He recently said to me he has “so much more confidence and self respect,” because of the incredible progress he has made. I’ve seen first hand not only the physical but the mental benefits the gym has awarded him.🫡

In the slides you’ll see the progress Ty has made, a few photos from our Hyrox doubles last week and a little insight to what you can still (try🤣) to eat all whilst pushing towards your goals. On a personal note, I apologise because you’ve now caught the Hyrox bug but I’m proud of you mate, keep up the good work💪🏻

Want progress like this, my DMs are open with only a few spaces left in May, don’t hesitate to contact me for a little chat to see what we can do for you🤷‍♂️
