Just a quick note, would the children - and our young adults in the village like to keep the goal posts up on the playing fields so they can enjoy a kick around/games? Future teams etc.

Just an update - funds in our bank account will be donated to the following -
Ferryside Primary School - to help with swimming costs.
Ferryside Methrin - help with costs and activities.
Ferryside Lifeboat.

⭐Club Statement⭐

It is with a heavy heart that the committee of Ferryside AFC must announce that the club will be folding with immediate effect.

This decision has not been taken lightly. Due to a number of players picking up long term injuries, travelling or heading off to University, the pitch being unplayable majority of the season and not being able to bring in fresh faces has made it impossible for us to continue operations.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of our journey, we look back at the last 3 and 1/2 season and be proud of what we have achieved. Division 2 Champions in our first season, Back to Back promotions and safely avoiding relegation in the Carmarthen Prem Division.

We would like to thank our players, coaches, sponsors, and the local community, if it wasn't for any of you we wouldn't have been able to field a side on the pale fields.
The memories we have created together over the years will remain long after the club closes.

Good luck to all the players who have signed for their new clubs and we wish you all the best.

Unfortunately the rain has beaten us again this week and the game has been cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch. Have a good Saturday everyone and see you next Saturday as we are home again.
