Established in July 2019, Insights Air Range is County Durham's leading, 12-lane, family-friendly indoor range for air rifles and air pistols. Conveniently located on Chilton Industrial Estate, just off the A167, between Durham and Darlington, the range is open all year long, 6 days a week, and welcomes shooters of all ages (8 years +) and abilities, regardless of whether you are a serious shooter
or total beginner. Ample and safe parking (CCTV monitored) is conveniently located directly outside the range, and we have full disabled access and toilet facilities. Our 12 shooting lanes (all 10-metre long) are equipped with their own dedicated target card retrieval system, and we have a wide selection of paper targets, as well as spinners and bells. Visitors can either hire one or more of our sniper air rifles and/or air pistols, or bring their own. Due to our larger capacity, we are able to accommodate Parties and Corporate Events, based on groups' requirements. Exclusive use of the range is also available on request. Safety is our priority, and shooting lanes are constantly supervised by fully trained Range Commanding Officers, always happy to offer safety advice and/or training.
