Apologies for missing yesterday's update, but guess what? Facebook decided to put a pause on my profile, claiming a copyright infringement on one of my images! 🤷‍♂️ Despite being the photographer, walker, and proud owner of our trademarked logo, it seems I've hit a snag with the cyber giants. Hey nature enthusiasts! 👋 Today's walk may not have been the most thrilling, but it was definitely filled with unexpected treasures waiting to be discovered!

While dropping off the car for servicing, I decided to turn the mundane into a mini adventure by walking back home. Along the way, I stumbled upon a delightful natural hedge bursting with flowering hawthorn—a sight and scent that truly lifted my spirits! 🌸

But the surprises didn't end there! I also came across some stunning alkanet, a plant I've since learned has incredible benefits for the skin. Did you know its roots can heal burn scars and prevent skin infections and inflammation? Nature never ceases to amaze!

With a bit of extra time on our hands, we decided to extend our journey and join a Southern walking group we'd never met before—and let me tell you, it was a blast! We laughed, we chatted, and we forged new connections while exploring the great outdoors.

Normally, we reserve longer walks for the weekends so my husband and I can walk together. Rain and sunshine, mud and puddles—we embraced it all and let it add to the thrill of the journey!
