Lots of new followers recently so time for a little re-introduction.
I'm Heidi and I'm on a mission to get more women strength training.
It's had such a positive impact on my life, particularly since perimenopause started in my mid-40s, and I'm passionate about helping other women get started.
It enabled me to focus less on my scale weight & how I looked, and more on how I felt & how strong I could be. I'm now more interested in how many KGs I can lift rather than the KGs on the scale!
From women who've never picked up a dumbbell before, to those who need a bit more of a structured plan, I feel privileged to be a part of your strength journey and I truly appreciate you investing in me.
A bit more about me ...
I met my husband at Warwick University in 1996 (where I was actually studying to be a teacher). We got married in 2007 and have two teenage daughters. I'm very aware of all the messaging they see on social media these days and want them to grow up with the confidence to be strong - in mind & body.
After a 15 year corporate career, I did finally go into teaching (primary) but, wanting a more flexible lifestyle, we all left the school system and I home educated my kids through their primary years.
We moved to live by the sea during Covid (after a very stressful house moving process) and despite it being a massive change for us all, it's the best thing we've done for our family.
As my kids began starting secondary school, it felt like the right time to focus on me again and turn my passion for health & fitness into a business that could help other women. And as a qualified Personal Trainer & Menopause Coach, I'm now doing just that 💪
