Following the recent sad news about the passing of our previous chairman, Bob Henson, the club will be holding a tribute of a minute's applause this Saturday at our annual 5-a-side tournament. This will take place before the games kick off in the morning session at 9:25 at Elm Farm.

Any old Feering Falcons managers or players are welcome to join us.

It is with great sadness that the club reports the death of former Chairman, Bob Henson.

A devoted supporter of Feering Falcons, Bob's association with the club spanned many decades, during which he witnessed countless memorable moments and became a cornerstone of our community.

Bob served as Chairman of Feering Falcons for over 40 years that saw him guide the club through numerous challenges and triumphs. His leadership was marked by unwavering dedication, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of what the club meant to its players, supporters, and the wider community.

Throughout his long chairmanship, Bob was a steadfast presence who combined practical wisdom with genuine passion for the club. He was respected not only for his administrative capabilities but also for his ability to bring people together and maintain the club's values during times of both celebration and difficulty.

His decision to step down in 2023 marked the end of an era, but his influence on the club's development and character will be felt for generations to come. Bob's commitment to Feering Falcons was absolute, and his legacy is woven into the very fabric of the club.

Bob will be greatly missed by everyone at Feering Falcons who knew him, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.

If you have a girl aged 5-11 who wants to have fun in a supportive and positive environment while learning to play football, Feering Falcons is the place to be.

This year, we’re prioritizing girls’ football and have been working tirelessly to create a fun and welcoming space for girls from local villages to play.

There’s no need to commit every week or have a football fanatic—Wildcats is perfect for girls aged 5-11 who want a casual and enjoyable introduction to the sport.

Following the amazing success of the England Lionesses, this is a fantastic time for young female footballers to take up the opportunity to try the sport.

We’ll be running Weetabix Wildcats for girls aged 5-11 starting from Friday, 19th July at our home ground on Elm Lane from 17:30 to 18:30.

The first session for each child is free, with subsequent sessions costing just £2 each.

No booking is required—just come down and enjoy football with supportive, qualified coaches at a small village club.

All abilities are welcome, so you don’t need to be the next Ella Toone (or even know who that is!). Girls are welcome to just come down, have fun, and make new friends.

🌳 Tree Damage from the Recent Storms? 🌬️ If you've unfortunately suffered from a fallen tree or other tree damage, could we kindly ask that you consider donating any woodchips to us? 🙏 We would be incredibly grateful for any donations. 🌲 If you happen to see any tree surgeons operating woodchippers over the next few days, please let them know that we would be happy to take any woodchip waste. 🚜 Feering Parish Council Kelvedon Parish Council Prested Hall : if any trees have come down on your property, please consider supporting a local sports club. In the beautiful game, the score at the final whistle tells only a fraction of the story. This weekend, our U7 Reds showed us the true heart of football. Despite facing tough challenges on the pitch, they demonstrated unwavering spirit and teamwork that would make any coach proud.

Today, we celebrate our Player of the Match — not just for their skill with the ball, but for their relentless encouragement to teammates, and that never-give-up attitude that defines our club. Their performance was a testament to the incredible bond and support these young stars share.

To our U7 Reds: you embody the essence of why we love youth sport, why being the best teammate isn't about what skill allows you to pick up the ball but how you pick up those around you and make them smile and believe in themselves.
