Last game of the season for the boys yesterday, a derby against our good friends .1977
Finished up 1-1 and then the boys had a penalty shootout for an extra bit of fun which ended in a drawer too, perfect 👌🏻
What a season it’s been, the 1st for these boys as a team and the 1st for many of them playing competitive football. We’ve gained some players, we’ve also lost some along the way and some have returned but, regardless of who’s been on the pitch representing they’ve always played as a team and fought for each other which is all we can ask for.
They’ve all came on leaps and bounds, made new friends and memories for life which is what it’s about, the score lines might matter to them on the day but, in the end it’s the fun that they had that will stick with them growing up.
Thank you to all of our parents for supporting not only the team but also Taz & Danno as they’ve had to learn as they’ve gone along with the team. It’s all new to them too, and whilst they may not have always made the best decisions, it’s always been with kids best interest in mind.
Now on to the summer league….. UP THE BULL MILAN BOYS! ⚫️🔴🐂🔴⚫️
