⛰️ Cadwell Park ⛰️

Up and down weekend at cadwell park for round 8 of the British Superbike Championship sportbike championship.

Used FP1 to relearn the circuit and managed to better my PB by around a second and a half.
FP2 was damp through the last part of the track and we still managed to go faster again so put us in a good position for qualifying

Had a fairly disappointing qualifying to be honest. Couldn’t get a tow and just didn’t put a good lap together so ended up 33rd on the grid

Unfortunately around 20 minutes before our race it absolutely tipped it down so conditions under the trees were sketchy to say the least. We made some changes to suit the wet parts of the track but unfortunately went the wrong way and had 0 grip. Used my head and decided to pull in as to not risk a crash.

I feel the results don’t show quite how well the weekend went. Ended up around 3 seconds faster than I’ve ever been around cadwell and had some fun while doing it. Got a month off now to train and get ready for donnington.
Thanks as always to everyone who helps me out!

☀️Round 7☀️

What a mega weekend at Thruxton for round 7 of the British Superbike Championship

Friday was spent relearning the track on scrubs and just chipping away. Beat my PB in FP1 and went half a second faster again in FP2. Good first day learning such a fast track.

Saturday qualifying, went out wanting a 1:23. After I came in about half way through the session I had done a 1:23.8 and was looking on the edge of the qualifying time. Went out and just put my all into it, with some tips from Rossi_Banham_51 I went 1.4 seconds faster and ended the session in 35th.

Race1 after some people pulling out I started from 33rd. Gearing was abit wrong in the slipstream so was hitting the limiter about halfway down the straight. Unfortunate as I felt I had the pace to go forward and just kept losing out to people in the straights. Had a hard fought race to finish 26th.

Sunday I matched my best time in warm up on scrubs and felt really good for the race. Got a mega start until I was unfortunately pushed on at the chicane due to another rider crashing infront of us. Pushed hard and caught the group in the battle for 17th. Unfortunately on the last lap I lost the front going into turn three and down I went! Managed a 22.1 with an ideal a fair bit faster so confidence inspiring for the next round.

Overall super happy with how the weekend went. Massive thank you to Rossi_Banham_51 for the tips to make me less slow😂
And to all my sponsors and especially my dad for keeping the show on the road, even when I launch it down the road!

🚀Round 6🚀

Steady start to the weekend on Friday getting my eye back into the physical nature of Oulton park. Managed to beat my PB in FP2 so a good start to the weekend.

Qualifying on Saturday went brilliant. Beating my pb by over a second to drop into the 45s while still on scrub tyres. We made a change for FP3 which made the bike a lot easier to ride fast.

Unfortunately in the race on Sunday temperature changes led to some chatter coming back and I feel I never really got going in the race. Still managed better pace than last time out and finished the race in p25.

I want to say a massive thank you to Mark freeman for coming up to help out all weekend. With no dad on Saturday due to him being at my uncles wedding it would’ve been impossible without his help so I am very grateful🙏 and as always thank you to dad for driving round the world to get me to meetings!

And as always thank you to the sponsors who keep the wheels turning❤️

Solid weekend at brands hatch for round 5 of the British Superbike Championship

Friday we chipped away finding setup and just relearning the circuit from last year. Set a new PB straight away in fp1 and built on that as the day went on.

Saturday we made a big gearing change for qualifying and went another half a second quicker to qualify P36.

Sunday we made a change for warm up and matched my personal best within two laps so a good start to the day! Unfortunately had a very frustrating race. Got beaten up in the first lap and then couldn’t get passed some slower riders. Went another half a second faster before dropping back into the 36s while being held up🤦‍♂️

Still not where we want to be with the bike and the results don’t show the work I’m putting in behind the scenes. I want to say a huge thank you to Martin from Eastern Garage Racing and Harrison Dessoy for your help over the weekend! And as always thank you to my dad and all the sponsors who keep the show on the road!

☀️Snetterton round 4☀️

Friday started off slow relearning the track having not been here for over a year. Got my eye in clicking off laps but still a little off pace from last year.

Saturday qualifying we made a drastic change thanks to the legend Clive Horton and went over a second faster than the Friday and beating my PB to qualify 33rd.

Sunday morning warm up we made another huge change to improve the bike and went another second faster to end the session p26. I got a relatively good start in the race and just picked my way through a few riders while dodging a few crashes. Managed a 2.00.2 and was running p23 for most of the race until dropping back to p26 on the last lap due to arm pump.

Overall my best BSB weekend to date and a massive step in bike setup to allow me to push on. I want to say a massive thank you to Martin from Eastern Garage Racing for coming along and supporting and bringing Clive to help with setup and general advice. Also as always a massive thank you to my dad for keeping the show on the road!

Looking forward to brands in two weeks time💪

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Round 3 at Knockhill 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Friday- Woke up to traditional knockhill weather with it absolutely chucking down with rain. I went out for fp1 with an aim just to enjoy myself and dial in the Maxton Suspension in the rain for the first time. Splashed around for 30 minutes and bettered my wet time from last year by 2 seconds!
Fp2 was even wetter, so went out tried a few things and ended the session early but happy with how things had gone.

Saturday- Somehow the sun decided it wanted to come out so qualifying was nice and dry. Having only done one dry session before at knockhill I knew I would struggle but went a second faster than last year and qualified p35.
For race one we made a huge change with the bike to try and help with the front end feel that we’ve been lacking the whole year. I went another second faster but unfortunately had to pull out of the race on lap 15 due to the bike overheating.

Sunday- Skipped morning warm up to give the bike the best chance of finishing the race.
Managed my best time ever round knockhill of a 53.8 which for my 4th ever dry session round there isn’t too bad.

A good weekends racing ended with a great Father’s Day present for dad with a rear blowout on the van. Only took us 16 hours to get home🤦‍♂️

As always a massive thanks to everyone who keeps the wheels turning!

Solid weekend for round 2 of the sportbike championship.
Qualified p34 for the first and finished p30 after some good battles.
Started p34 again for the second race and finished up p28 after another great race.
Still struggling for front end feel hindering me moving forwards but pushing on through it.
Got two weeks working with the supertwins at the TT before we head up to knockhill for round 3. Super excited to get back out with some changes for knockhill to hopefully allow me to be more competitive.

As always a massive thanks to everyone who sticks by to support me every round.

Round 1 of Pirelli sportsbike championship British Superbike Championship done ✅
Struggled with bike setup and confidence during fp1&2 the bike felt awful compared to the donington test and having not done the Oulton Park test I needed to find a huge chunk of time to qualify for the race.
We made masssive changes to the bike for qualifying and I went 2.5 seconds quicker sneaking into 40th position on the grid for the races.
Race 1
More changes made to the bike another 1.2 seconds quicker finishing p30 after a few riders crashed out.
Race 2
Few more tweaks to the front suspension another 1.1seconds a lap quicker and a good battle with Jack knights finishing p35.
Overall an ok start to the year with improvements made every session to bike and rider.
Thanks to Phil Proudfoot for going through my data with me and to Maxton Suspension for helping to improve the bike.

Solid couple of days at Donington Park—plenty learned, plenty to improve, but moving in the right direction every time out 👊

26th isn’t where we want to be, but it’s a huge step forward from last season and a strong base to build from.

Big thanks to the people behind me making it all possible 🙌
