This weekend, our U7s took part in the Deal Town Summer Tournament, and wouldn't you know it.... they only went and won the thing!!!

What a journey this team has been on this season, many highs, many lows, many grass stains and bruises and many MANY smiles!!

We couldn't be prouder of how they have come together as a team and what a way to celebrate their first full season together.

HUGE congratulations to our U7s, you really do deserve this recognition.

ITS THAT TIME AGAIN!! THIS SATURDAY 6TH IS OUR PRESENTATION DAY!! 💛💙💛💙💛💙

We are looking forward to bringing together all our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters as we celebrate the achievements of our club throughout the 2025/26 season.

Team coaches will communicate arrival times for our 'in house' tournament at the following locations:

U7–U12 – Hernhill HQ Playing Fields
U14–U18 – The Abbey School, Faversham

Following a morning of fun matches, all teams will come together at Hernhill for the presentation of awards.

Every player will receive a trophy, with additional special recognition awards presented by each team for:

Respect
Most Improved Player
Players' Player
Coaches' Player

Hot dogs will be available for all players from 11:45 am, with the presentation ceremony starting at 12:15 pm. We expect to finish by 1:30 pm.

The Heron's Cafe will be open to all attendees serving a selection of hot food, treats and drinks!

AFTER THAT!!! Our club AGM will take place at The Red Lion in Hernhill everyone is welcome to attend.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

💛💙NEW PLAYERS WANTED!💛💙

We're looking for a couple of new players to join our U9s squad as we move up to U10s next season (Year 5 in September).

We're a friendly mixed-gender team focused on player development, confidence, teamwork and, most importantly, enjoying football. Sessions are led by a UEFA C qualified coach in a positive and supportive environment.

📍 Training: Thursdays, 6–7pm at Hernhill
⚽ Matches: Saturday mornings in the Faversham Youth League (Division 6 this season)

Whether your child is already playing or looking for a new team where they can develop and have fun, we'd love to hear from you.

Our U12s smashed it today in their final match of the season, playing against Tyler Hill! There’s been so much great football and friendship from this group this year, we’re already looking forward to seeing what comes in U13s (after a well deserved rest for players, coaches and parents!!) 💛💙🙌🏻🙌🏻💛💙

What a way to finish the season for the U11 Blues with arguably the best performance of the season away to Dover Rangers Red.
In very hot conditions the Herons worked as a team and were a constant threat.
Millie was coaches player for a great all round display and getting a great assist from a cross.
William was supporters player for using his pace to find gaps and scoring 2 goals. The first goal was maybe our team goal of the season ending a 5 pass move.
We will soon be U12 Blues 🥲

Exciting things are happening at Hernhill Herons! 💛💙💛💙💛

After a hugely successful season, work has officially begun this week on improving the pitches at Herons HQ thanks to funding secured from the FA Football Foundation.

Working alongside our fantastic partners at C&W Groundcare, the first stage of the renovation includes:

☑️ Aerovation
☑️ Disc seeding (in two directions)
☑️ Brushing & rolling

These improvements are long overdue and will make a massive difference to the quality of the playing surface for next season and many years to come.

At Hernhill Herons, we’re passionate about investing in our facilities to ensure every player has the best possible experience at the club. We are a small village club (and proud), but with big ambitions for coming years.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. We can’t wait to see the players enjoy the results. The 26-27 season promises to be an exciting one!
