Great news for history lovers and curious explorers – Chart Mills is now open every Saturday from 2pm to 4pm following restoration works by the Faversham Society.

Step back in time and uncover the fascinating story of Faversham’s gunpowder industry at this unique heritage site, located off Stonebridge Way (ME13 7SE). Once at the heart of one of the town’s most important industries, Chart Mills offers visitors the chance to experience an important chapter in Faversham’s remarkable history.

The organisers at Swale Borough Council have informed us that they are currently looking to reschedule the event for September. We understand this may be disappointing and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

🌸 Faversham is looking beautiful! 🌸

A huge thank you to Faversham Town Council staff who maintain the planters, the dedicated volunteers, and the many local businesses that brighten our streets with hanging displays and make such a welcoming first impression for residents and visitors alike.

These colourful displays are a great example of the community pride that makes Faversham such a special place. It's also lovely to see our streets looking so clean and cared for, helping to showcase the town at its very best.

With summer now in full bloom, there's even more floral inspiration to enjoy around the town.
