My passion for fitness and training started when I was a teenager. Growing up, I had a slim build whilst body fat was still a little on the high side. I took the decision to start weightlifting, with the goal of building body confidence and self-esteem. Throughout the last 10 years, I have continued to set myself fitness goals and pushed myself to change my physique. This means I have experience i
n a multitude of fitness disciplines. My current goal is to compete at a regional level in the sport of 'Strongman'. My passion for health and fitness fuelled me to build an understanding of the science behind it, particularly around weightlifting. I was always writing programs, providing tips and training advice to friends and fellow gym-goers, which led me to officially qualify as a personal trainer in early 2020. Since then, I have been working with numerous clients on a one-to-one basis, in group sessions and virtually. As a qualified PT, I have risen to the challenge that COVID-19 presented and found new ways of working with clients to help them still achieve their goals. My coaching services cover the Kent area, however I train clients virtually across the country. I like to work collaboratively with clients, taking into consideration your goals and preferences. The aim is to create a plan that’s achievable and fits your lifestyle and capabilities. I aspire to help people to understand and benefit from weightlifting exercises and nutritional guidance. Training plans focus on free weight and resistance training for strength muscle gain, toning and fat loss. For every client, I create an individual, all-round personal training plan which incorporates exercise and nutrition. I like to help my clients develop a greater understanding of what their plan is doing for them. I find that this knowledge helps to keep people motivated and driven to achieve results. My goal as a trainer is to work with you to build a stronger version of yourself. You can expect a personal 1-2-1 service, that’s educational and informative. We’ll work together to form new habits and make fitness part of your everyday routine, rather than a chore where motivation is driven by guilt. Working with me will be much more than just a weekly check-in or workout. I encourage clients to engage throughout the week and give feedback on their sessions and nutrition.
