Congratulations to Xavier Hollands on winning the Club Championship Finals held this weekend.

In a closely contested final, Xavier defeated Matt Bushell by 4 and 3 to regain the title and add another Club Championship success to his golfing achievements.

Well done to Matt for an excellent performance throughout the competition, and congratulations to all players who reached the knockout stages.

A big thank you to all the members wgo took part in FGC's Professional's Week, which was held during Stuart Rokes 33rd year!!

Congratulations to Lucy Murphy who claimed the Ladies Prize with 39 points, and to Andy Perkin, winner of the Men's Prize with 40 points.

A special mention also goes to Rob Clark and his team for having the course in absolutely tip-top condition.

FGC hosted The Medway Troohy yesterday and the home team were victorious!!! Congratulations to Matt Goss, Mark Angus, Tony & Jack Harrington, Phil Dott and Mark Hutchinson for bringing the trophy home, its been a long time coming!!!

Our thanks goes to Karl Howarth for bringing the event to Faversham Golf Club and his organisation. Below are his comments from the day:

"In sweltering conditions, we had 11 teams teeing off from 11am. The course conditions were tough, with firm fairways, long rough and even firmer greens. Our foursomes format does not take any prisoners, and players found that they were being punished for erroneous slots. Nevertheless, whilst the scoring was far from spectacular, these conditions led to an extremely close competition".

In the end, Faversham amassed 96 poi ts from their 3 pairs, narrowly beating Sittingbourne and Mid Kent with 95 points.

Thank you to everyone who supported Race Night on Friday. It was a fantastic night, great fun and it was lovely to see many familiar faces together with some new members. As seems to be the case each year, GoRaceNights always bring the hot weather!!!

Thank-you to Simon of for being a wonderful host. Hope to see you again in 2028!!

Faversham Golf Club were delighted and proud to have the opportunity of hosting the Ghurka Rifles Memorial Day. To see so many playing and remembering their fallen comrades from The Falklands Conflict was quite emotional especially when they received a surprise visit from their Colonel in Chief. To serve our late Queen and country in the way that they did was very humbling.
