Too cool for scull!

Why sculling is one of the most important aspects of swimming.

Every stroke has aspects of moving the water, catching, pushing and pulling. Sculling helps develop your feel for the water.

Today marks 4 years since Greaves Swim School first opened!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our journey. Your support makes this all possible, getting to work with such wonderful swimmers and watch their skills and confidence grow makes this such a rewarding job.

To every parent/guardian/swimmer who has recommended our Swim School, shared a post, left a kind review or trusted us to teach you or your child: THANK YOU!

Meet Nicole!

Nicole has swam competitively for over 10 years and has been teaching swimming for the past 5 years. She has taught children aged 3–15 in settings ranging from large leisure centres to private one-to-one lessons, helping everyone from complete beginners to aspiring competitive swimmers.

Nicole recently completed her undergraduate degree at Oxford University and moved from the south to Leeds to study law. She’s also swapped competitive swimming for running and am currently training for my first half marathon!

Nicole will be helping with lessons on Saturday afternoons.

Please join me in giving Nicole a warm welcome to Greaves Swim School!
