Unfortunately, Joe Horrocks has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled contest against Josh Fitzwater due to injury. We wish Joe a full and speedy recovery.

Stepping in to take his place is Ross Williams, who makes his Premier Boxing League debut in what will be just his second bout.

Josh was preparing for a tough test with Joe, but without hesitation has accepted the change of opponent, while Ross has grabbed the opportunity with both hands. It speaks volumes about the confidence both lads have in their own ability.

This is a brilliant matchup between two young fighters looking to make a name for themselves on the PBL stage. Neither man is coming to make up the numbers—they’re coming to announce themselves.

For Josh, it’s a chance to continue building momentum and show why he’s one to watch. For Ross, it’s the perfect opportunity to make an immediate impact and prove he belongs on one of the biggest stages of his career so far.

With both fighters eager to impress, expect a fast-paced contest from the opening bell. Two hungry prospects. One huge opportunity.

Who makes the bigger statement on September 26th?

Arthur “The Gypsy General” McDonagh was preparing for what he believed would be the toughest fight of his career against Ben Clark. Following Ben’s withdrawal, an even bigger challenge has stepped forward in Ash King.

When the fight was offered, Arthur didn’t hesitate for a second.

That sums up exactly who he is.

Arthur has built his reputation by taking on whoever is put in front of him. He’s never cherry-picked opponents or looked for the easy route. Time and time again, he’s accepted the toughest challenges available, earning the respect of those around the sport as a true fighting man. Accepting Ash King immediately was simply another example of that mentality.

Ash King, however, has a completely different view.

He believes Arthur has never been in a real fight and that this will be the night he’s exposed. Ash is convinced he’s operating on another level and sees Arthur as the first of many recognised names he’ll defeat in the 70–73kg division. He isn’t coming just to win—he’s coming to make a statement and knock Arthur out.

This is more than just another fight.

Arthur is out to prove that his reputation has been earned through years of taking on all comers, while Ash is determined to show that he’s the new force in the division and ready to take over.

With two fearless competitors, contrasting styles and both men convinced they’ll prove a point, this has everything needed to be one of the standout contests of the night.

Don’t be surprised if McDonagh vs King walks away with Fight of the Night honours.

This isn’t just another fight… this is personal. 👊🔥

Matthew Rose 🆚 Johnny Royle

These two have unfinished business, and on Saturday 26th September, they’ll settle it the only way that matters – inside the Premier Boxing League ring.

Matthew Rose is one of the more experienced names in the unlicensed boxing scene and is well known for his larger-than-life personality. Often seen as the joker, this is a different side of Rose. He insists he’s taking this fight more seriously than ever before and is determined to show everyone exactly what he’s capable of as a boxer.

Standing opposite him is Johnny Royle. With just two fights to his name, Royle arrives full of confidence and has made a huge statement, claiming he’ll stop Rose inside the first round. Rose has laughed off the prediction, insisting Royle is all talk and promising to get the job done within the scheduled three rounds.

There are no titles on the line. No rankings at stake. Just two men with a score to settle and a point to prove.

This one has all the ingredients to steal the show.

The heavyweight division welcomes a new face to Premier Boxing League. 👊

🔥 Eni-David makes his PBL debut looking to move to 2-0 and continue his unbeaten start to his boxing career. After an impressive first outing, he’ll be aiming to prove he belongs amongst the division’s rising contenders.

Standing in his way is Reece Heer. An experienced campaigner who knows exactly what it takes inside the ring, Heer is determined to show that there are no easy nights on Premier Boxing League. Expect him to push Eni-David every second of the fight and provide the toughest test of his career so far.

Will Eni-David keep his perfect record intact, or will Heer spoil his debut on PBL?

💥 EXPERIENCE MEETS AMBITION IN THE LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION

Tyler Barron is back — and whenever he steps into a PBL ring, expect fireworks.

Barron has become a familiar face on Premier Boxing League, consistently delivering exciting, explosive fights. Coming off a recent win, he returns with his sights firmly set on climbing the light heavyweight rankings and pushing himself towards a future title opportunity.

This time, standing in his way is George Blackman.

Blackman arrives at PBL with an impressive amateur background and plenty of confidence behind him. He’s not here simply to make up the numbers — he sees Barron as the perfect opponent to make an immediate statement and show that he belongs amongst the best in the division.

Barron wants to continue his climb. Blackman wants to announce his arrival. 🔥

Two confident fighters, both with something to prove and both looking towards the top of the light heavyweight division.

🥊 RUSSELL RETURNS. SHARPIES ARRIVES WITH A POINT TO PROVE.

Tommy Russell is back on PBL and ready to get himself back into winning ways after a disappointing loss to Troy Duxbury in a lightweight title eliminator.

That defeat hasn’t changed Russell’s ambitions. He’s been in there at eliminator level, he knows what it takes to compete with some of the division’s best, and on September 26th he’ll be looking to remind everyone exactly why he was knocking on the door of a title opportunity.

Standing across from him is Sharpies, making his PBL debut in just his second fight.

Sharpies sees this as the perfect opportunity to announce himself. Beat a man who has already competed in a title eliminator, and suddenly people start paying attention. He’s coming to PBL confident, hungry and determined to make his name known in the lightweight division.

Russell wants redemption. Sharpies wants recognition. 🥊

Two technical fighters with plenty to prove — this could be a very interesting battle when that first bell rings.

🥊 DEBUT HUNGER MEETS WINNING EXPERIENCE!

Jordan Martin makes his PBL debut, stepping into a completely new sport and ready to showcase the work he’s been putting in behind closed doors. Martin isn’t looking for an easy introduction either — he’s excited by the challenge of facing someone who already knows what it feels like to get their hand raised.

Standing opposite him is Lewis Morris, who comes into this fight with one bout and one win under his belt. Morris has already tasted victory and is confident that experience will be the difference when the two meet in the ring.

Both men come from well-respected coaches and fight teams, both are confident in their ability, and neither is coming simply to make up the numbers.

Martin wants to announce himself with a win on debut. Morris wants to make it 2-0 and prove there are levels between someone who’s been there before and someone stepping in for the first time.

Expect a technical battle with plenty of power behind the punches as two confident fighters look to make a statement.

🔥 One makes his debut. One looks to stay unbeaten. Something has to give.

Unfortunately, Josh McCleary’s original opponent, Darcel Headley, has been forced to withdraw from the contest due to injury. We wish Darcel a full and speedy recovery.

Stepping up to the challenge is another exciting young cruiserweight prospect, George Cuibotarui, who has accepted the fight and is ready to make an immediate statement on the Premier Boxing League stage.

This is the type of fight boxing fans love. Two young, hungry cruiserweights with everything to prove. Josh McCleary has been preparing to make a statement, and George Cuibotarui arrives with exactly the same mindset. Neither man will want to take a backward step, and both know that a victory here could establish them as one of the division’s brightest prospects.

Expect power. Expect pressure. Expect action.

Both fighters possess the size, strength and punching power to end the fight at any moment, but they also have the desire to put on a performance that people will remember. On paper, this has all the ingredients to steal the show and has every chance of being one of the standout contests of the night.

If you’re looking for a fight that promises explosive action from the opening bell, this is it.

McCleary vs Cuibotarui is one you won’t want to miss.

Experience meets ambition as a PBL returnee collides with an unbeaten newcomer determined to make his mark.

Joe Horrocks returns to Premier Boxing League with one goal: to secure his first PBL victory and prove he belongs among the promotion’s rising names. Standing in his way is debutant Josh Fitzwater, who arrives with an unbeaten 1-0 record from another promotion and every intention of extending that perfect start.

Fitzwater sees this as the perfect opportunity to announce himself on the PBL stage, knowing that a win over an established PBL fighter would instantly raise his profile. Horrocks, however, believes his experience and time in the promotion will be the difference, and he’s determined to show that he’s learned from previous outings.

For one man, it’s about redemption. For the other, it’s about arrival. Both know a victory here could be the start of something much bigger, making this lightweight clash one neither fighter can afford to lose.
