Children begin their gymnastics with us as Pre-school or recreational gymnasts in classes that are mixed boys and girls. red by the British Gymnastics Association. Gymnastics is great fun and provides a foundation for many other sports. It can be used as a stepping stone in preparing the child to participate and succeed in all types of sporting events. It teaches many of the basic skills children will require in later life, such as discipline, socialising, team spirit and confidence building. We have classes for boys and girls from the age of three upwards. There are sessions to suit all needs, from the beginner to the more advanced gymnast. Our members participate in small groups with experienced coaches. Your child will have a personal coach for the duration of each course in order for his/her progress to be constantly monitored. British Gymnastics is the governing body for the sport. It has created programmes for coaches to learn to teach the fundamental gymnastic skills from babies to adults.
