🚗 A little parking update for Farnham Park

You may have spotted the new parking meters appearing around the Folly Hill car park. They’re not up and running just yet, but we know a few people have been wondering what the changes will mean.

The good news is, it shouldn’t affect a normal visit to Birdies, a round of golf or a trip to enjoy the park (as this is what this carpark is intended for) 💚

Once the new system is live:

☕ Up to 4 hours parking is free Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
🌳 Parking is free outside these hours, so evenings and weekends remain free
⛳ Plenty of time for a coffee, lunch, a walk or play in the park or a visit to the golf course

So please don’t let the sight of the new meters put you off! We’ll share any further information once the system actually goes live and we know exactly how it will work.

Why is this one of the few ticketed events we hold at Birdies?

It’s a question we’re often asked, so we thought we’d explain.

Most of our live music is completely free and we’re really proud to be able to offer that.

A few times each year we do something a little different. Rather than our usual buzzing Friday and Saturday music nights, we host a more intimate concert-style evening, with limited numbers, guaranteed seating and the chance to really sit back and enjoy the performance.

Ticket sales make these special evenings possible, helping us cover the additional costs of bringing this style of concert to Birdies.

On Sunday 2nd August, we’re delighted to welcome back Anna’s Hummingbird Jazz.

Featuring the beautiful vocals of Anna Stewart, singing fluently in English, French and Spanish, alongside internationally acclaimed guitarist Nicolas Meier and the wonderfully talented double bassist Marianne Windham.

Together they’ll perform a beautiful mix of jazz, Latin music and French chansons in an intimate concert-style setting.

🎟 Tickets: £15 per person (link in bio and on our website)

Every ticket guarantees you a seat, while also helping make special evenings like this possible.

LOST PROPERTY CLEAR OUT 👀

We’ve had a bit of a build-up of lost property here at Birdies, so it’s time for a proper clear out.

If you’ve left something behind, or you spot something that belongs to someone you know, now’s the time to come and grab it.

🗓 All items must be collected by Tuesday 5th May

After that, anything unclaimed will be taken to a local charity shop.
