Woolstone Farm Livery Woolstone Livery Yard has both Full, Part time and DIY livery with 40 stables. We don't run any competitions as we like to keep our facilities for our clients.

Located in Oxfordshire, both DIY and Full Livery; Facilities include: 20x40m indoor arena, 20x60m outdoor arena, horse walker, solarium and All-year round turnout There is a 20x40m indoor arena, horse walker, all-year turnout and during 2022 we added a 20x60m outdoor arena as well! In the summer there are also outside show jumps, while jumps can also be put up in the arenas. Located in the Vale of

the White Horse in Oxfordshire we are also in a prime location for hacking and are close to various other places for competitions. We have clients who do Eventing, show jumping, hunting, dressage, endurance and some playing with Trec and Working Equitation as well as just hacking and schooling with riders and horses of many ages and skills. We are constantly trying to find ways to improve the yard, both facilities and security. DIY weekly rate is £47.50, Full horse care (not including riding/exercising) is £135. We have vacancies coming up!

2 Part Livery spaces - our part livery covers all horse care except riding and feed cost,

& 1 DIY space -
Both of which includes the 20x40m indoor arena, 20x60m outdoor arena, all year round turn out, with prospects for 24/7 grazing over the summer.
Plus a Solarium, horse walker, lunge pen, cosy coffee room, excellent hacking options and overall a really friendly BHS approved livery yard.
We often organise pole clinics, Working Equitation clinics, outdoor grass jumps & arena (summer only) and other activities for our liveries too. We have various instructors come to the yard, especially Sheena Grierson and Johanna Burnage for example.

Hello! Its been a while since we posted anything, as usual we have continued improving the overall yard and currently have no livery vacancies. If you would like to go on our wait list please still message us though.

At the moment we are offering new part time positions. As two separate roles, one job is for 3 hours both Saturday and Sunday mornings, and the other is weekday mornings for 4 hours. Please read the ads below if you are interested, I will post the ads across various groups in our area or if anyone wants to share them etc please do so.

Currently we have no vacancies and a wait list which is a nice way to start the summer; now that things are finally drying out and growing we will be switching to our summer grazing soon!

AND We have an opportunity for someone to gain experience, a part time role helping us on the yard weekend mornings. Would include turning out horses 8 to 9, then mucking out and tidying yard until 12. Pay is through PAYE so includes proportional statutory holidays.
Could start asap, or to start at the beginning of June.

We weighed over half the horses on the yard, would have been a perfect afternoon only it hadn't been so chilly! Didn't mean to leave it 2 years since the last visit, likely organise again for the autumn 👍

We are now a BHS Approved Livery Yard!
I am planning to get the plaque on our gate this week, wanted a group photo of our staff and some clients with it first and during some quadrille play seemed the best time; Thanks everybody who took part in the latest one, especially since the weather was VERY wet hence we did in indoors!

Also another photo showing a beautiful view of white horse hill from last week, and a photo of a previous quadrille play in the spacious outdoor last month!

Including our nearly complete improvements to our Indoor arena which includes replacing the clear roof sections and painting the walls to something a bit brighter than dusty black. Its made such a difference 🤩
Did an Easter egg hunt Easter Sunday too.

Brief Description
Woolstone Farm Livery is a family run livery yard who are now looking to take on a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprentice to join their yard in Woolstone, Faringdon, Oxfordshire. Accommodation can be arranged (bedsit with own access). There is a mixture of part and DIY livery as well as additional services offered if clients require help. We are based at the foot of Uffington White Horse Hill with access to the Berkshire downs and quiet country roads.

Detailed Description
We need a hard-working, team player who can work to a high standard under the leadership of the Yard Manager. To include all general yard duties which include mucking out, grooming, turning horses out, clipping, putting horses on/off the walker, attending to medical needs of horses, preparing stables for new clients and annual maintenance, weekly maintenance of the indoor and outdoor schools. Riding available for the right person.
We are a family run livery yard with 35+ horses, with a mixture of Part Livery and DIY. Additional services are offered if clients require help. We are based at the foot of Uffington White Horse Hill with access to the Berkshire downs and quiet country roads = lots of great hacking on and off road. We have a 40x20 Indoor school and a 20x60 outdoor school as well as show jumps & grass arena in a field for the summer.

Lovely, friendly yard, clients and staff, with lots of well-mannered horses. Driving licence required. Immediate start preferred.

We are going into 2022 with No vacancies & wait list, our arenas are both still awesome, and although we didn't do a internal yard show type thing this year, doesn't mean the tinsel didn't come out!

Will be assistant to the Livery Yard Manager. Daily help with management of 10 plus horses on part livery, including daily turn out and in. Care of horses with rugs and boots and washing down. Basic first aid of horses. Helping farriers and vets. Clipping horses. Lunging and using horse walker. Exercising horses (if experienced rider). Keeping yard tidy and keeping horse stables in good condition (clean, basic maintenance and painting if needed). Checking fields and fences and keeping water troughs clean. Poo picking fields. Maintenance of the indoor and outdoor schools.
