☀️ Hot Weather Advisory for Golfers ☀️
With temperatures forecast to reach 37°C on Wednesday, we would like to remind all members and visitors to take extra precautions when out on the course.
A round of golf can mean several hours of exposure to the sun and heat, so please make sure you come prepared:
💧 Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated throughout your round. We recommend carrying more fluids than you would normally require and drinking regularly, even if you do not feel thirsty.
☂️ Bring an umbrella for shade. It can make a significant difference when waiting on tees and greens or during any delays on the course.
🧢 Wear suitable sun protection, including a hat or cap, lightweight clothing, and sunscreen.
⛳ Take your time and avoid unnecessary exertion. There is no need to rush in these conditions.
⚠️ Be aware of the signs of heat exhaustion, including dizziness, headaches, nausea, excessive sweating, cramps, or unusual fatigue. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop playing, seek shade, rehydrate, and contact the Clubhouse if assistance is required.
Please also keep an eye on your playing partners and fellow golfers throughout the day.
We want everyone to enjoy their golf safely during this period of exceptionally hot weather. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
