Selected squads from South East England U15 / U17 girls participated last week in a Youth International Volleyball Tournament in Kalmthout, Belgium, in preparation to the Inter-Regionals finals in Loughborough on 23/24th May.
South Hants featured highly, with Isobel, Klara and Sofiia (U15), and Marta, Maya, Heidi and Noemi (U17), and a few local coaches ๐ช๐
Teams from Belgium ๐ง๐ช, Germany ๐ฉ๐ช, The Netherlands ๐ณ๐ฑ, France ๐ซ๐ท, Luxembourg ๐ฑ๐บ and England ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ all met up for the event, involving over 50 teams and 500 players. Some great Volleyball on show, and a top learning experience for all.
The competition was tough, with low level of serve errors, discipline and good levels of skills being a key difference! Some top team on show also from Holland, Belgium and Germany, where height, technique, speed, defence, long rallies and quick combinations was all on show! ๐๐
