The Fal Surf Classic is back for 2026 🌊🏄‍♂️

We’re running Open & Female categories with plenty of prizes up for grabs 🏆

And thanks to our repechage round, every competitor is guaranteed at least two heats. This is a great opportunity to give a surf comp a go!

📍 Location: Praa Sands or Gwithian (we’ll choose the best waves on the day 🌊)

Surf lessons are back for Term 2!!!!
We are now running a different format with and giving you both beginner and intermediate options, please read the caption carefully. 🌊🏄‍♂️

Lessons run at the beach with the best conditions on the day — usually Gwithian Beach, Praa Sands, or Fistral. All equipment included 🙌

🌊 Beginner (Tier 1, £12)
New to surfing or ready to move beyond the white water? We’ll cover paddling technique, perfect your pop-up, and get you confidently riding white-water waves.

🌊 Improver (Tier 2, £12)
Comfortable paddling out in shoulder-high surf and catching your own waves? We’ll focus on wave selection, reading conditions, riding green waves & introducing basic turns.

🚌 Transport (Tier 3, £5)
Limited bus tickets available. If you need transport, purchase a bus ticket alongside your lesson booking.
📍 Meet 12:30pm at Penryn Campus bus stop.
⚠️ DO NOT buy a bus ticket without booking a lesson first!

📍 Final location confirmed the day before.
⏰ Arrive by 1:30pm if making your own way.

We are super excited to announce our overseas trip to PORTUGAL in June at Peniche surf camp ✨

🏄‍♂️ Tickets will be live soon so keep an eye out for that announcement, get your friends together and be ready to get your ticket! 🏄‍♀️

There are just 30 tickets available so be quick! And they will be open to members only so if you are not then get over to the SU website 🎟️

🛬 Transport is not included, this allows you to choose an airport/flight easiest for you but we do recommend booking this soon after booking your ticket 🛫

We are super stoked and excited to spend a few days in the sun, surfing and exploring Portugal with a few of you lovely shredders! ☀️🌊🏖️

Tickets are £12 for members and £15.50 for non-members, this includes a pizza and a pint.

!! To select your pizza there will be a microsoft form sent to your email with your recipet, please fill this out ASAP or the pizza won’t be pre- ordered, and a margarita will be ordered as default!

We’re looking for a couple of people to join the falsurf committee, any skill level is welcome 🤙

🏄‍♂️ WEEKLY TRIPS OFFICER
You’ll be organising our weekly trips to Watergate Bay and driving the crew down!
- Must be 21+ with a clean licence (2+ years) so you can get your minibus licence
- FalSurf covers your minibus course + your trip costs
- Need to have good organisational skills and will commit to running trips fortnightly.
