SO8 Muay Thai Gym SO8 Muay Thai was founded in 1992 (Originally Falmouth Thai boxing) by chief instructor Ian Davies. All welcome 🙏

We are a friendly and professional gym teaching both adults and children. Tuition in Muay Thai, self protection, fitness and conditioning. SO8 Muay Thai Gym was set up in 1993 (under the original name Falmouth Thai). It was the first traditional 'Thai Boxing Club' in Cornwall . The club teaches mainly Muay Thai Boxing however Kick Boxing, Self Protection, Self Defence and MMA (mixed martial arts)

are also taught. So if you would like to lose weight, get fit, just try something new, gain confidence, compete in the ring (semi contact or full contact), grading’s etc we can help either in any of the classes or personal one to one teaching. We are a friendly, family orientated group welcoming all types / levels of fitness in a non-intimidating environment (Feel free to come down and judge for yourself) what you will get is high quality honest hard training to meet your needs. Classes are taught by experienced, attentive trainers. Safety is Paramount in all classes and a good warm-up, stretch and warm down is a key part of every session, the clubs instructors are traditionally trained and fully insured. Ian Davies is the club's senior instructor and has over 25 years of experience. Most of this time in Muay Thai and many under the guidance of the legendary Master Sken and his famous Sitnarong camp. In the classes participants are encouraged to push themselves, all levels of fitness are more than welcome, and our instructors are trained to help identify and help improve your fitness levels without intimidation or ill-feeling” New students are always made welcome and you'll soon be part of the Falmouth Thai family. The main and core style of the club is Muay Thai (Thai Boxing), however we welcome other martial artist's of all levels & styles as we all learn off each other, even if you've never set foot in a gym before we'll have something to suit you. So these three warriors went to war yesterday.
So proud of them ♥️
Ammy was on first went the distance with great good skills and aggression.
Unfortunately didn’t get the decision but great display and what a future ahead!!

Next on was Alex for his first fight, great debut and managed to give his proponent and eight count in round one with some powerful clinch and Kees, and then went on to stop his opponent in round three.

Lewis gave a great technical display of sweeps, clinch, punches, kick and elbows, against a very good fellow instructor.
Unfortunately he had an eight count in round one ( which in our eyes was a slip, but hey that’s the fight game). Lewis lost on decision.
Onwards and upwards.
Thanks for as always to the SO8 corner team and our amazing support who travelled .♥️🙏
That is what I love about our SO8 family. We win together we lose together..
