Restronguet Sailing Club

Restronguet Sailing Club Restronguet Sailing Club is situated on the West bank of Carrick Roads at the mouth of the beautiful river Fal.

Since it’s foundation in 1933, the club has aimed to foster sailing in general, but places particular importance on encouraging young talent. The club has a long tradition of developing national and international medal-winners and for organising successful championships for fleets of up to 150 boats. The committee would like to extend to you a warm welcome. We hope that you will find us a friendly

club and that RSC will become like a second home for all those who delight in sailing on our wonderful waters. Our intention is to make sailing fun for all – young or old; competitive or non-competitive. We are a relaxed club and although modest, our clubhouse is newly refurbished with good facilities – including a warm and friendly bar. The committee organise regular racing for all, youth training for 8-18 year olds, sailing introduction days and plenty of social events.

🏆 World Champions! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Restronguet Sailing Club members Stuart and Sandie Sly, who have been crowned 2026 Dart 18 World Champions in Carnac, France! 🇫🇷⛵

Competing against the world’s best Dart 18 sailors over a week of championship racing, Stuart and Sandie produced the consistency, skill and teamwork needed to come out on top and lift the world title.

To perform at that level across an entire championship is a remarkable achievement and a moment the whole club can be incredibly proud of.

Congratulations Stuart and Sandie on becoming World Champions. What an inspiration to sailors throughout the club. Fair winds and very well deserved! 👏🌍
