Couch to 5K is back.

Join our beginner-friendly 9-week course, designed to help you build confidence and go from zero to 5K at your own pace. We’ll finish with a celebratory 5km Benchmarker event at Beach House on Wednesday 1 July.

It’s completely free, follows the trusted NHS Couch to 5K approach, and is led by our brilliant volunteers - so no headphones needed.

Sessions start Wednesday 6 May. Take that first step with Shakeout.

A big weekend at Shakeout 🌈🌊

Saturday, we kick things off with a loud and proud run for Falmouth Pride. Expect big energy, q***r anthems, and plenty of colour. Meet at 08:30 outside for a warm-up before we head out together.

We’re a proudly q***r-led club — with 3 of our 7 committee members identifying as LGBTQI+ — so Pride isn’t just something we celebrate, it’s part of who we are.

Sunday, we keep the momentum going with a coastal trail special alongside . Run Leader, Clare will lead us along the coastline for sea air, stunning views, and finishing at Origin with free filter coffee and discounts on the bar! Meet at 08:15 for warm-up.

This year we’re heading to SALTO Festival in Spain - our first trip abroad as a run club and we couldn’t be more hyped.

Four days of trails, movement, music and community in the forests of La Garrotxa, and the Shakeout crew will be right in the middle of it - hosting runs across the whole weekend.
