🏏 The first XI recorded a fabulous result away at Portsmouth chasing down a rani affected total! .rajaratnam and the skipper .cad were the pick of the performances. Overall a very impressive team effort.

🌧️Unfortunately there are no other fixtures to report due to falmer being deemed unplayable.

On Friday 31st May, we’re inviting societies to come down to the cricket pitch at Falmer and take part in a 7-a-side, 6 over, soft ball tournament with mixed teams in support of , a brilliant charity started to help families prepare for the death of a parent and to join the fight against non-smoking lung cancers. The outfits will be ‘Red for Ruth’. It will cost £5 to play but this includes a free drink, the teams will consist of members of all societies. The numbers are limited but if you’d like your society to take part drop us a dm and we’ll let you know if we have any spaces left. ❌ No 3rd XI fixture this week due to exams and a lack of availability throughout the club!

🚨Results For Game-week 3🚨

🏏The 2’s notch up their first win if the BUCS season with a comprehensive victory over local rivals Chichester University @ the fortress! Special mentions go to .rajaratnam, and for their performances in the fixture!

🏏 The 3s narrowly miss out on a win this week with them finishing 2 runs shy of the target set by Zambuca Tigers @ the Hove Recreation Ground! A tough loss but lots of positives to take overall!

🙏Good luck to all those playing for their home clubs this weekend, we will soon announce team sheets for next week’s fixtures which include a fiercely poised encounter against previous title winners @ the fortress!

🚨Results from Game week 2🚨

🏏1st XI showed a dominant performance by bowling KCL out for 13 runs, yes that’s right…. THIRTEEN RUNS. They find themselves top of the league in the Tier 1 BUCS division.

🏏A tough one to take for the 2s as the rain led to a DLS result! Lots of positives to take tho as the team accumulate 200+ in the first innings.

Our attention now turns to Sundays varsity match where USCC look to continue to dominate our local rivals!

These are teams for game week 2 of USCC’s BUCS campaign.

🏏 The 1st XI are @ the fortress falmer for the second week running as they take on . The game commences at 12:30pm so please feel free to come and support the boys!

🏏 After last week’s tricky start, the 2nd XI look to turn a corner in their BUCS campaign as they take on @ Reading cricket club. Their game is set to start at 11:30pm!

Feel free to come and support the boys with a few 🍻’s in the sun!
