A busy week at the club for matches with two Henderson Vase teams and our Singles/Doubles team playing.

A great win on Thursday for the singles/doubles team against a youthful Tayport Tennis Club side. A special mention to Subby and Alister who turned a potential draw into a match win by winning their match tie-break in the doubles! Overall result 4-2. Well done to James, Subby, Alister and Graeme.

In Henderson Vase there was a good competitve match for the firsts against Arbroath Lawn Tennis Club 2 on Monday resulting in a 6-6 draw. Well done to Nikki, Liz, Grace, Sandy, Alister and Graeme.

Our second team had a close match against Arbroath 3 unfortunately losing 7-5. Some close games and a very enjoyable evening of tennis, thanks to Abby, Ailsa, Kelly, James and Ally.

A good week for the club matches with a 6-6 draw against Perth Tennis Club in Henderson Vase and a 6-0 win against Duffus Tennis Club in the Singles/Doubles league. A good start to both leagues!

NORTH EAST FIFE SOCIAL LEAD COMMENCES😍

Great to see the Social League kick off last Saturday.

The mixed doubles kicked off in style with a warm welcome at Anstruther Tennis Club.

A great afternoon of fun tennis was had by all. Thanks to Anstruther for a lovely buffet🤩😊 and their hospitality.

Pittenweem were top of the pops, closely followed by the hosts themselves. GTC's dynamic duo Adina and Pavel managed a fine 4th place!

This league is fantastic and gives players the opportunity to enjoy the competition without any pressure, and make new friends. Remember its nice to finish first but great to take part!🙌🙌🙌

This Saturday's venue is Lundin Sports, GTC's pair will be Nikola and Zdenek, enjoy guys😊😊😊🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾

That was the final match of the Men’s Doubles League for Falkland this season l ending in a 6-6 draw away at West End Tennis Club Dundee, thanks to Graeme, James, Alister, Subby and Sandy.

Falkland finished in 4th place with 7 points, securing our place in Division 5 next year. It was a tough league this year and thank you to everyone else who played Peter, Bill, Brian and Simon 🙂🙂🙂🎾🎾🎾

It was the end of the ladies league team social this evening. Lots of bubbles, amazing food, chat and some tennis.

Only one free week then then it’s on to the Henderson Vase mixed doubles next Monday.

A huge thank you and well done to all the ladies who played in the teams this year. Such a delight to field two teams and have so many eager players.

Just like that it’s the end of the season for the men’s and ladies teams.

On Monday our First Ladies team drew with Montrose. Balmy warm with no wind or sun, it was the perfect night for tennis.

Last night our men had a tough match against the already promoted Forthill team. They sadly lost 10-2 in sets.

A huge thank you to all the ladies and mens team who played every week this season. Ladies team social is this Monday and then Henderson Vase starts. Let us know if you are interested in playing.

**What a fantastic day! ☀️🎾**

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Open Day to play tennis, enjoy some food and support the club. We were even treated to a bit of sunshine!

We think more than 150 people joined us throughout the day, and it was wonderful to see so many families, members, familiar faces and people visiting the club for the first time.

A special thank you to Yvonne and her Young Leaders, who kept everyone entertained with games, music and tennis, and to all the volunteers who helped serve burgers and strawberries, tidy up afterwards and make the day run so smoothly.

The club is at its best when the courts are busy and full of people enjoying themselves. We hope everyone who picked up a racket for the first time, came along for a hit, or simply stopped by to see what we're all about enjoyed the day. We'd love to see you back at the courts again soon, whether that's for a social game, coaching, club nights or perhaps even becoming a member.
