Wee message of support to the club from a legend in the Scottish game.

Big John couldn't have been more enthusiastic about sending a wee message to our club. He was really positive about what we are doing and was just a lovely genuine guy.

Not sure many of the KIDS will know who he is, however, I am certain a few of the parents will.

This time tomorrow, Wednesday February 4th, we'll have just kicked off the first of our four Community Thank You Nights this year, from 18:30-20:30, we're inviting all parents and coaches of our Home Club Partner teams to join us for our first of four Community Thank You Nights in 2026 ⭐️

Ahead of all of our partner teams' league season kicking off, we'd like to make the most of the opportunity to recognise the support and loyalty shown by you all throughout the recent months. We couldn't be here without you! ⚽️

We're working through the final preparations as we look forward to the busiest weekend so far this month with action on all of our pitches throughout. Thanks as always goes to the clubs and organisations that will be joining us. Here's what's going on 👇

⚽️ Saturday morning - CSFA League Matches: seven 11-a-side fixtures with our home club partners.
⚽️ Saturday afternoon - Our next Galaxy Winter Festival as we host our U14s Girls event with 9 teams joining us.

⚽️ Sunday morning - Astros packed as Gairdoch United 2016s host the first weekend of their sevens festival.
⚽️ Sunday afternoon - Back to back 11-a-side matches on the astros, the last pitch space is still available for Sunday evening.

Great night in the tent on Thursday for both teams, lots of touches, goals, tackles and games. Great wee atmosphere!

This week Jacob was singled out for the "heart of a lion" award. This is awarded to a player who shows great courage and who is always willing to keep going no matter what stands in their way. Jacob proved he was that player this week with his performance on Saturday, he never stopped trying, never stopped playing and never gave up against a tough, physical opposition.

At Braes FC we dont let anyone kick us off the park. Each and every player has the right to play on any pitch. They may become emotional, need a drink, an ice pack or just a minute to compose themselves, but they get back on and play the game they all love.

Tommy from the 2017's presented Jacob with his Flag as he has also shown the same resilience this season.

As always, super proud of all players and the community we are building at Braes.

Great attitudes and great displays all round for all the braes fc 2017's.

🤍The whites had a good wee morning. The respect and discipline the players showed keeping to their positions, working hard helped them get some great goals and good moments in their three games.

💙The Blues were excellent today!

Some very competitive games against Alloa Siantsz Syngenta and Falkirk, end to end and a great watch for the neutral!

Some of the play was fantastic resulting in great team goals too!. The boys are really starting to gel together as a team and was a joy to watch at times.

🖤What a day for the Black boys, nothing but effort and working hard from all six. So many great moments for them, great saves, strong play non stop running, some nice touches and a few great passes too.

All coaches are super proud as ever of all the boys 1, 2, 3… 🖤🤍🖤
