FIRST LEAGUE WIN AT HOME! 🩵💙
What a way to kick off our league campaign! A brilliant performance from the whole team saw us secure our first league win at home. 🙌
We stuck to our game plan and trusted our structure, which allowed us to generate fast play, build speed at the ruck and move the ball out wide. Our backs took full advantage, finishing off some fantastic team plays and racking up the tries! 🔥
⭐ Coaches’ Player of the Match - Lois Cant
Lois’ fast feet and ability to weave in and out of the defence made her almost impossible to catch, resulting in an impressive 7 tries! What a performance! 👏
🏆 Opposition POTM & Back of the Match - Abbie Ledwidge
A first outing at centre for Abbie, and the backs are already hoping she stays there! Her strong carries, running lines and ability to step defenders showed just how strong and versatile she is, proving she’s just as effective in the backs as she is in the forwards. 💪
💥 Forward of the Match - Monika Bicev
Monika was everywhere, getting stuck into every ruck, running some great lines and constantly looking to be involved in both attack and defence. A huge shift from start to finish! 👊
A very strong start to the season for Falkirk RFC’s women’s team, and with both of our men’s teams also taking home wins, it was a brilliant weekend for Falkirk seniors as a whole! 🩵💙
