Community Event - 𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝘃𝘀 𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗜 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏆

We had a fantastic time at Woodlands with so many children excited for Scotlands first match at the FIFA World Cup⚽️🙌🏼

We watched the Highlights of the Denmark game which secured qualification, played a World Cup tournament on the pitch AND … all players left with World Cup & Falkirk Foundation Goodies⚽️

Our next Community Event is next Saturday 20th, the day after the Morocco Game 🙌🏼⚽️🏆

🎓 Congratulations to the Centre Forward Class of 2026!

Over the past year, our students have worked incredibly hard, completing Qualifications Scotland units in Employability, Sport & Recreation, Work Placement and Workplace Core Skills.

Alongside this, they achieved their Emergency First Aid qualification and Scottish FA Introduction to Coaching 1.1 award.

As this year's programme comes to a close, we would like to congratulate every student on their commitment, progress and achievements. It has been a fantastic year and we are proud of everything they have accomplished.

The next chapter now begins, with students progressing into further education, apprenticeships, employment and volunteering opportunities, including courses at Forth Valley College and the TCV Green Skills Apprenticeship programme.

A huge thank you to our delivery partner Forth Valley College and to The National Lottery for their continued support of the Centre Forward programme.

We wish all of our students the very best of luck for the future. 💙

Supporting young people’s futures across Scotland ✨

We are delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new programme, Back in the Game, thanks to the generous funding support of the Bairdwatson Charitable Trust.

This funding will enable us to deliver a 12-week programme designed to support young people in building confidence, developing skills, and taking positive steps towards their future.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Foundation Scotland for their support throughout the application process and for making the experience so straightforward.

What is Ahead of the Game?

Over the last few months, we've been delivering Ahead of the Game programmes to community sports teams across our area.

Developed to support young people, parents, and coaches, the programme focuses on mental fitness and wellbeing, helping participants better understand their own mental health while learning how to support others through challenging times. Using sport as a shared platform, it encourages open conversations and builds stronger, more supportive team environments.

Falkirk Foundation would like to say a huge thank you to the members of Equity Bairns for their generous donation of £200.

This fantastic support will go directly towards our Down’s Syndrome football programme for young people, helping us continue to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive space where participants can enjoy football, build confidence, develop friendships and feel part of the Falkirk Foundation family.

The funding for this programme has recently come to an end, so donations like this make a real difference and help us continue delivering opportunities for young people who benefit so much from taking part.
