🥋 𝐆𝐒𝐌𝐀 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬

Thank you very much for the invitation to the TAS Taekwon-Do Scottish championships in Grangemouth yesterday. A good day was had for a very well run competition.

Our 15 students who competed were very successful, winning a total of 26 medals.

8 🥈Silver
9 🥉Bronze

Thank you to Andrew Oliver for making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be , getting the students prepared and for your unwavering support. Thank you to Miss O and Claire Nelson for making sure the kids are fired up and ready to go! Emma McCuish for the photography, and to all our parents for your continued support to our competitors at competitions.
Thanks to all for holding the fort while I had to rush away late afternoon. Was gutted to miss the very last event.

Saturday 21st February

A huge well done to our GSMA team who competed at today's competition. We took 20 students along to this competition, and they were taking part in Sparring, Patterns, Special technique and Board breaking 👊

Our medal tally was as follows,

🥇 20 Gold
🥈 12 Silver
🥉 12 Bronze

Well done to every one of our students who stepped on to the mats today 👏
Thank you to Mr Kerr Williamson for umpiring and Miss Olivia McCuish for assisting with helping some of our nervous students. Also a huge thank you to Andrew Oliver, Fraser Shaw and Claire Nelson for your coaching skills today.

We take a lot away from today, and will continue our journey to be the best we can be 👊

Good session last night at classes with our Taekwon-Do beginners classes warming up with dynamic stretching exercises, and our Korean Kickboxing team working on punching and kicking drills before sparring 🥊
