I used to get asked this question all the time.
And honestly? It took me a long time to step into the weights area. It felt intimidating, usually full of guys, and cardio was always my comfort zone.
Now fast forward a good few years… and the weights area is my go-to. My safe place.
Why?
Because it’s where I learnt to appreciate my body for what it can do, not just how it looks.
Because lifting gave me confidence I never got from the treadmill.
Because getting stronger changed more than just my body.
Now? I know exactly which one I’m picking 💪🏼
