A brilliant effort from everyone who came to the first boot camp of the year. A simple mix of bodyweight movements, circuit training and a little bit of core work to get the body fired up and moving once again. Great to see everyone putting in the work after such a long time off with some new faces joining us. It’s good to be back 💪🏻

Just a reminder the first Boot Camp kicks off tomorrow night, 6:45pm on the field at Fakenham Junior School.

If you’re coming along, if possible please bring your own exercise mat to use throughout the session, antibacterial wipes and spray will be provided.

Remember to bring a bottle of water to keep hydrated and possibly bring a hoodie/jacket to put on if the weather takes a turn for the worst!

Boot Camp is back starting next Monday 19th April! 6:45pm start outside on the field at Fakenham Junior School for £5 per person with all Covid related measures being put in place.

Can’t wait to get going with everyone and getting back into the swing of things! Time to get back to work and getting those fitness levels back to where they should be! 💪🏻

Bootcamp is back! As of tomorrow we’re up and running again after a couple of weeks off re charging the batteries! Ready to take on this New Year training harder, working smarter and watching everyone progress! If you fancy coming along and giving it a go come down to Fakenham Junior School for a 7pm start for £5. As we all set out with good intentions to become fitter, healthier and better versions of ourselves, there will always be a lot of nonsense information and myths that surrounds fitness. Here are 10 pointers and truths to try and help combat the confusion!

- Carbs don’t make you fat.
- Eating after 6pm won’t make you fat.
- There is no such thing as fat burning foods,
the only way to shift the weight is to be in a calorie deficit.
- You can still enjoy your favourite foods and lose weight.
- Ab exercises will increase your core strength but won’t give you a flat stomach.
- You can’t pin point or spot reduce where fat loss will happen.
- Don’t waste your money on fit teas, skinny coffees and weight loss shots, the celebs who advertise them are just after an easy pay day.
- Invest in someone who actually wants to help you.
- There is no quick fix or magic pill, it’s a change in lifestyle!
- Resistance training and lifting weights doesn’t make women bulky. Gaining muscle takes years of hard work and consistency, you won’t become a bodybuilder!
