Sadly no Swimming festival today in Bournemouth. I don’t envy the teams who organise these events which are so totally weather dependant . It is so heartbreaking having to make these cancellation calls . But , it’s better that they do and keep us swimmers all safe .

Anyway , I was down here in the new forest before the call was made , so instead of trading we went and supported the Lymington market . What a cool market ! We found some beautiful crafted items , some amazing cheeses and bread and then this incredible book stall .

Lymington was her first market and we were her first customers .

Would you like to get into winter swim dipping ?
Are you a bit unsure about how to do this safely ?

My one hour sessions will guide you through how to find a safe place to dip in North Norfolk, how to check tide and weather conditions, how to monitor the effect of the cold on your body , what to wear before, during and after your dip, how to enter, acclimatise and exit safely and any other questions you may have .

I have over 30 years of cold water , sea swimming experience. I am a qualified Swim England swim guide as well as holding an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification and Have an up to date RYA first aid certificate which specialises in first aid in and on the water . I have 32 years teaching experience and run regular guided swimbobble tours around the creeks at Burnham Overy.

To book a personalised session , one on one or with a group up to 6 people. (Over 18’s only I’m afraid)

Crazy crazy month.

I have sewed every day virtually to keep up with sales . It’s been the best summer .

Today I’ve been tidying up my sewing loft . It really needed it .
