After ten years of Bike Works, the time has come for a new chapter.
I’ve made the difficult decision to close the shop and move on from the cycle industry, having accepted an opportunity to begin a new career in engineering.
It’s certainly not been an easy decision. Bike Works has been a huge part of my life for the past ten years, and during that time I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic people, working on thousands of bikes and building relationships with customers who have supported the shop year after year.
I’d like to say a huge and genuine thank you to everyone who has supported Bike Works over the years — whether you’ve trusted us with your bike, bought something from the shop, recommended us to friends and family, left us a review, or simply popped in for a chat. It has all been very much appreciated.
I’ll now be gradually winding the business down over the coming weeks. Existing workshop commitments will be completed as agreed, and I’ll be sharing further information regarding opening dates, collections and remaining stock as things progress.
For now, I simply wanted our customers to hear the news directly from me and to say a heartfelt thank you for ten years of support.
It’s been quite a ride.
