TAG Tonight (9th Oct) – Height Barrier

Please be aware that there is now a height barrier in place at the Exeter Arena car park in response to the issues they have had with travelers in the past. If you intend to come in a camper van, large transit etc. then please be aware.

Don’t quote me but I believe the height of the barrier is 2 meters (6’ 6’’). Any issues please call the Arena in advance.

Hopefully see you later.

New Experimental Rule 2026 – 2027 season

In the excitement of it being the start of our new season on Friday I forgot to mention about the below new experimental rule for this season. It’s something I have been thinking about introducing for a while now and would like to give it a trial run for a few weeks and see how things go.

Rule 6 –The ‘Tackle’ (Tag) and Tag Count
Any player worth 4 points or more will need to be tagged twice, by two separate defenders, before they are deemed to have been ‘tackled’.

However, this rule does not apply within seven meters (7m) of the opponents try-line where the normal one tag rule will still apply.

Note: It is only when a player in this category is tagged (‘tackled’) a second time that this tag will be added to the team’s Tag Count

Have a good week and look forward to seeing you next week.
