University of Exeter Climbing Club This is the official page of the University of Exeter Climbing Club: a group of friendly and fun-loving students who share an interest in rock climbing.

We're a welcoming bunch and have the facilities to accommodate a whole range of abilities, so whether you’re onsighting E7 or have never climbed before then we’d love for you to join. We train 3 times a week on a monday at the barn climbing centre near Tavistock and on a wednesday and friday at the Quay climbing centre in Exeter. Instruction is provided by pour qualified instructors at both sessio

ns at the Quay. We also run outdoor trips every weekend, either Saturday or Sunday, in order to get out and climb on some real rock. We're very lucky in Exeter as there are so many different crags (places to climb) around us that are easy to get to on day trips; we're almost spoilt for choice! As well as climbing trips we also organise regular socials, which provide a great chance to meet and to get to know other members of the club. Come along to a taster session, give it a go and you'll soon find out that we're one of the most active, sociable and enjoyable sports clubs on campus.

MOVEMBER BAKE SALE!!!

On Monday the 15th we are holding a bake sale in the Forum (downstairs) to raise money for Movember 🧁 9am-4pm!!

Want to support us? Either pop along and buy a cake on the day or bake some goodies and bring them to us at 9am on the morning of the bake sale!

If you are baking anything please bring a list of ingredients so we can make sure any allergies are avoided.

If anybody wants to head to The Barn climbing centre in Tavistock on monday then make sure you book your space in a car via the STAXY app - using the typical monday car spreadsheet WILL NOT get you a space!!

Thinking of giving a new sport a go this term? The Climbing Club are running taster sessions for refreshers week so that anyone can try out climbing for free!

Tasters will take place at the Quay Climbing Centre between 4-7pm on Wednesday. If you're interested you can sign up and choose a time here:
