Progress looks different for everyone.

For Amy, it’s about getting stronger, staying consistent and feeling better in a physically demanding job. Here’s what she has to say about training with Izaak.

"Training with Izaak has been great, I struggle to stay consistent with my strength training but his sessions keep me motivated and have enabled me to be the strongest I’ve ever been! I have a physical job which makes me prone to burnout and injury but since training with Izaak I have been in the best condition which has made a huge difference in my day to day. He is very communicative and mindful of my goals, this keeps our sessions varied and purposeful. He is incredibly knowledgeable and I really enjoy learning whilst training. I genuinely look forward to our sessions and would recommend him to anyone!"

The perfect partner to the heat of the sauna…. A freezing cold ice bath, built to help with muscle fatigue, soreness and get you ready to go again.

Every membership at the new U7 includes access to the ice baths, so recovery is always part of your training.

Hot. Cold. Recover.

With Mat being away and the news of our opening delay being announced, we thought now would be a good time to take a breather and recap the journey so far.

Safe to say, it’s been manic!

From the start of this project, with our timelines being a major issue, we knew we had a huge project ahead of ourselves.

So we've been pushing as hard as we can to get the new gym ready as quickly as possible, but we're going to need a little more time.

Due to a few unforeseen delays on site, we're now shifting from our opening in September, towards opening the new site in November.

With the landlord telling us we couldn't extend our stay, thankfully, our neighbours, GreenTech, have stepped in to save the day.

This is not the news we wanted to share, but it means we can get the space finished properly and open it in the way it deserves.

Thanks for sticking with us.

Thanks for sticking with us. We cannot wait to welcome you all to the new U7 soon!

Injured doesn’t have to mean inactive.

A muscle or limb gets injured, so we stop training completely. But there are ways to keep training around an injury and maintain as much strength and muscle as possible.

One way is cross-education.

If you break your arm, you can still train your non-injured arm. Doing so can help keep the injured side strong and maintain muscle mass.

An injury doesn’t mean you have to stop. Modify, adapt and keep moving where you can.

Different goals, different training, same mindset.

Get in.
Get after it.

The date is out. Now the race is on.

With the opening officially announced, the final push is well and truly underway.

Windows in, the studios taking shape, the retractable roof going up, landscaping and tarmac on the way. There’s a lot happening, and by the end of next week, this place is going to look very different.

The clock’s ticking.

The Move continues.

Huge thanks to for letting us use their track and for the patience of what they described to be “the slowest lap they have ever seen”
