Are you making the most of resistance bands?

From warmups to aiding strength work, there's more than one way to use them.

Here's a few ways you can use bands in your training:

-Rehab and assistance
-Increasing and accommodating resistance
-Power production

Have you ever injured yourself whilst doing the macarena?

We didn't think so, but you might be surprised to learn that someone actually has - and that person is, !

Sounds silly, right? Well, what may be even sillier is that Ben has decided to take on 40 challenges before he turns 40!

Ben is raising money to help support , who are an Independent Day School for children aged 2-18 with significant physical difficulties & other complex medical needs.

As part of his preparation and ongoing support, has been training him so his body can handle the load being put through it as he works through his challenges.

Don't worry, we've briefed the staff so whenever Ben is training, we make sure that Los Del Rio's Macarena is firmly turned off on Spotify as we can't risk him injuring himself again.

Tomorrow is the last day that we will be taking direct debit and annual memberships at the original U7 site.

WHY?

Because anyone who is a member of U7 at that point will be move over to our new site, on our loyalty legacy rate of £55.00p/m for a minimum of 6-months. (dependent on time-served with us).

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

If you know you are joining us at our new site, from October 1st our pre-sale memberships will go live. This will have you on £65.00p/m for the first 3-months, and with no joining fee.

A butterfly flaps its wings and the world changes.

For U7, our journey started with a personal trainer, a client, and a few training sessions.

Since then, we've taken on a gym, outgrown the space, and are now redeveloping and moving to a location over 3 x our current size.

But currently? Well, right now our dream is still a building site.

But with it only being a few weeks now until opens, and then a few more until the gym does - everything is going to come together FAST.

Watch this space.

Well you better be quick because we will not be selling any new direct debit or annual memberships after the end of September.

Why is that we hear you ask?

Because if you join us before the end of September, you will be able to train with us at our normal membership rates right up until we move. Then, once we are in the new site, you will have 6 months at a monthly rate of £55p/m. A huge saving compared to our normal membership rate of £80p/m.

What if you want to join after September?

Easy. We will still have Day Passes, Week Passes, and Month Pass memberships available until we move to the new site.

Mat is back!

The last time you saw him, he delivered the news about our delay. But now, fresh back from holiday, there's only good news to tell.

- The saunas are going in. We knew they were big, but these are something else. Stay tuned as we are planning to demonstrate the size of these soon.
- Ice baths are in the ground.
- Studio walls are built.
- Sonny can make a coffee, but it might not be better than Rachels.
- And yes, his office was turned into a kitchen.

With a lot going on, its easy to forget - but remember that if you are thinking of joining U7 and coming over to the new site for 6-months at £55.00p/m - you must join before the end of September!
