Coaching Opportunities: U18s Girls Rugby Coach

Exeter Athletic RFC

Exeter Athletic RFC is excited to be expanding its women’s and girls’ rugby pathway.
We are looking for a passionate and committed female coaches for our U18s Girls to join us on this journey!

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in developing young players while helping lay the foundations for a newly formed women’s team at the club in the seasons ahead.

About the Role

As an U18s Girls Coach, you will:

Lead and deliver engaging, inclusive, and development-focused training sessions

Support players of all abilities to grow in confidence, skills, and love for the game

Create a positive, safe, and supportive team environment

Work closely with our experienced club coaches and volunteers to build a strong pathway into senior women’s rugby

Contribute to matchday preparation and player development plans

Help shape the future of our club and play a key role in launching a new women’s team.

No previous qualifications required, just a passion and commitment to be part of something special.

🏉 Good luck to our incredible U12s this Saturday! 🖤🩵

After winning the Land Rover Cup, our U12s are heading to Twickenham for an unforgettable match day experience! 🤩

The team will be taking part in a half-time pitch walk before cheering on the Chiefs, making memories they’ll never forget. It’s a fantastic reward for all their hard work, commitment and teamwork throughout the season.

We’re incredibly proud of every player, coach and volunteer who has been part of this journey.

Have an amazing day, enjoy every moment, and don’t forget to take lots of photos, we can’t wait to see them! 📸

Exeter Athletic Rugby Club AGM – Friday 17th July, 7:00pm

We would like to invite all members of the club to attend our Annual General Meeting on Friday 17th July at 7:00pm.

This year’s AGM will be an opportunity to celebrate what has been a fantastic 2025/26 season for our club. Highlights include:

🏆 Four teams bringing home silverware

🏉 A hugely successful U10 Festival hosted at the club

🏆 Hosting the U14 Cup Final Day, with Devon Rugby recognising that our club is truly the place to be! 😉

We will also be sharing our exciting plans for the 2026/27 season, including updates on our new social space, upcoming events, and our vision for the club going forward.

We would love to see as many members there as possible, including players, parents, coaches, managers, volunteers, and supporters. Your involvement and input help shape the future of our club.

Don’t worry, we promise to keep the formalities short and sweet, leaving plenty of time afterwards to catch up, celebrate the season together, and enjoy a drink and a chat.

National Volunteers Week!

At Exeter Athletic RFC, we know that a successful club isn’t just built on what happens on the pitch. It’s built on the dedication, commitment and hard work of volunteers who give up their time week after week to help our club thrive.

A special shout-out goes to Stacey McCabe, who puts in an incredible amount of time and energy organising volunteers to sell raffle tickets at every Exeter Chiefs home match at Sandy Park. It’s a huge undertaking and one that brings vital support to the club. Thank you, Stacey, for everything you do.

We’d also like to recognise all of our fantastic ball boys and girls, along with the volunteers who organise them, and Tim Rockey for coordinating car parking and bucket collections throughout the season.

There are so many others who deserve recognition. From our coaches and team managers who dedicate countless hours to developing players, to our committee members, match-day volunteers and all those working tirelessly behind the scenes. Much of what they do goes unnoticed by most, but without them the club simply wouldn’t function.

To everyone who gives their time, whether it’s visible on a match day or happens quietly in the background, thank you. Your efforts help make Exeter Athletic RFC the club it is today.

We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.
