Teen Camp 2026 - what a week!

We’ve packed the week with adventure, laughter, new experiences and plenty of memories, taking on some amazing activities across Exeter and South Devon in the minibus! 🚌

Here’s a look back at an action packed week:

Monday – We kicked things off with orienteering at Haldon Forest, followed by a well-earned ice cream stop at The Orange Elephant! 🍦

Tuesday – A full morning of bowling, laser tag and arcade games at Tenpin, before heading to The Climbing Hangar in the afternoon for some bouldering 🎳 🧗

Wednesday – Archery tag on site with Colin in the morning, followed by an afternoon of paintballing! 🎯

Thursday – An amazing morning of coasteering at Anstey’s Cove with the team at Haven Banns, followed by some time relaxing at the beach 🏖️

Friday – And the biggest hit of the week… Splashdown Quaywest! The teens spent four hours running wild around the water park, racing down the slides and making the most of our final day! 🌊☀️

A huge thank you to all of our incredible staff, instructors and the businesses who helped make this week possible. Your support, energy and enthusiasm made it a week to remember! ❤️

It’s been an amazing week, and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again!

An introduction to our Monitor in Training (MIT) Programme! 🌟

Meet Gareth (better known as Kinchy), who leads our Monitor in Training (MIT) programme at Laser Camp!

Designed for young people aged 13+, the MIT programme gives participants a behind the scenes look at what it takes to work at Laser Camp. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and gain valuable experience working with children.

They also complete a variety of practical challenges to put their new skills into action. These include creating and leading their own games using set equipment, running sports sessions such as rounders and cricket on the Astro, and safely guiding children around camp while working alongside experienced staff.

Our MITs absolutely smashed their week! 👏

They showed fantastic enthusiasm, teamwork, and leadership, successfully completing the programme and earning invitations to return throughout the summer to support our camp groups.

Think you’ve got what it takes?

Our MIT week has now finished for this summer, but we’d love to welcome a new group of future leaders next year. Keep an eye out for details and come and give it a go!

Looking to improve your tennis skills or try the sport for the first time? Join Arlo’s fun and engaging tennis coaching sessions!

With a wealth of tennis knowledge and experience coaching players of all abilities, Arlo provides daily small-group lessons designed to help every player develop and grow.

Each session focuses on a different aspect of the game, including:

Meet the Team – Laser Camp 2026 | Week 2 🌟

Behind every amazing week at Laser Camp is an incredible team of leaders and monitors who work tirelessly to create a fun, safe and memorable experience for every child!

From our fantastic Early Years team in Cubs, caring for our youngest campers from just 3 years old, right through to our oldest groups of 13 year-olds, every member of our staff brings energy, enthusiasm and dedication to camp each day.

Our team is made up of people from a wide range of backgrounds, each bringing their own unique skills and experiences. From dance instructors and outdoor education specialists to qualified teachers, university students, former campers and ex-military every member of the team plays an important role in making Laser Camp the special place it is.

Whether they’re leading games, supporting activities, helping children build confidence, or simply making someone smile, our staff go above and beyond every single day. Their creativity, teamwork and care help create unforgettable memories ✨

Week 1 - done ✅

What an incredible first week of our Summer 2026 Camp! ☀️

From slip ‘n’ slides to arts and crafts, circus skills, archery, swimming and bouncy castles, our campers have had an amazing time kicking off their summer holidays!

Next week we’ve got even more exciting activities lined up, including the return of martial arts, archery tag, and our Subbies camp, which includes exciting trips to Haven Banks and Tenpin bowling, plus plenty more adventures throughout the week!

Have a well deserved rest this weekend - we know we will! 😴
