Motivation is great when you have it… but it’s a terrible thing to rely on.

I’m definitely not motivated to train 100% of the time, and I don’t expect my clients to be either.

The reason so many of my Stronger Together clients become more consistent isn’t because I somehow magically make them motivated every day.

It’s because we create an environment where you don’t NEED to constantly find motivation.

You know what you’re doing when you train.

You have people expecting you to turn up.

You can see yourself getting stronger and fitter.

You have goals to work towards.

And, most importantly, you actually enjoy being there.

That’s very different from walking into a gym alone, doing the same bit of cardio, trying a couple of machines and hoping that this time you’ll somehow stick with it.

Some of my clients now train together outside their coached sessions, enter events together and have formed genuine friendships through Stronger Together.

That’s the bit people massively underestimate.

When training becomes part of your routine — and part of a community you enjoy being around — consistency becomes a hell of a lot easier.

If you’re constantly starting again because you ā€œlost motivationā€, maybe you don’t need more motivation.

Maybe you need a better environment.

I’m currently offering a 2-week FREE trial of Stronger Together in Exeter.

Small-group female coaching.

Maximum 4 women per coached session.

Progressive training, accountability and a genuinely supportive group around you.

DM me ā€œSTRONGER TOGETHERā€ and I’ll send you the details.

NEED A SEPTEMBER RESET? šŸ‘ŠšŸ»

If your routine has gone a little bit out the window over the summer, you’re probably not alone

Holidays, kids being off school, weekends away, social plans, work… sometimes training just drops down the priority list

But getting back into it doesn’t mean you suddenly need to train 6 days a week, live off chicken and broccoli and completely change your life overnight

You probably just need some structure, accountability and consistency again.

That’s exactly what Stronger Together is there for:
šŸ‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø Small group coaching with a maximum of 4 women per sessionā€ØšŸ“ˆ Properly structured, progressive trainingā€ØšŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø Coaching and support rather than being left to figure everything out yourselfā€ØšŸ¤ A supportive group of women of different ages, abilities and fitness levelsā€ØšŸ’Ŗ A chance to get stronger, fitter and more confident in the gym

You don’t need to already be fit

You don’t need to know what you’re doing in the gym

And you certainly don’t need to wait until you’ve ā€œgot yourself fitter firstā€

Sometimes having something booked in the diary and somebody expecting you to turn up is exactly what gets the routine going again

I’m currently offering a 2-week FREE trial of my Stronger Together female group coaching programme

If September feels like the month you want to get yourself back into a good routine, DM me ā€œSTRONGER TOGETHERā€ and I’ll send you the details

Rosie has now been training with me for over two and a half years, and throughout that entire time she has been one of my most consistent clients.

August can be a difficult month for consistency.

People are away on holiday, routines change, the kids are off school, the weather is hot and it can be very easy for training to slip down the priority list.

Rosie, however, has been as consistent as ever šŸ‘šŸ»

Throughout August she trained at least 3 times every single week, and quite often she’ll be in the gym training on her own at 7am in the morning before getting on with the rest of her day šŸ’ŖšŸ»

One of Rosie’s biggest strengths is that she has created a routine that works for her.

She doesn’t rely on motivation or wait for the perfect week to appear.

She plans ahead, gets her sessions booked in and has built training into her normal weekly routine.

That’s exactly what forming good habits is all about šŸ‘šŸ»

Even when work gets busy, she’s away with work or she’s on holiday, Rosie is very good at finding a way to keep moving and regularly makes use of hotel gyms as well.

And that consistency over the last two and a half years has led to some huge progress.

Some examples of Rosie’s strength improvements include:
šŸ‘ Barbell Hip Thrust: 60kg āž”ļø 140kgā€ØšŸ’€ Deadlift: 60kg āž”ļø 87.5kgā€ØšŸ’ŖšŸ» Strict Press: 12.5kg āž”ļø 30kgā€ØšŸ”„ Lat Pull Down: 25kg āž”ļø 52kg

Rosie is a brilliant example of something I say all the time:

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be consistent.

The odd missed session or imperfect week doesn’t matter when you’ve built habits that keep you showing up month after month and year after year.

She’s also great fun to have around the gym, and anyone who has trained alongside Rosie at 7am on a Monday will know she certainly adds plenty of personality to the session

Very well deserved, Rosie.

Keep doing exactly what you’re doing šŸ’ŖšŸ»
