Huge congratulations to Meg for passing her Europe Netball Level 1 coaching qualification!
Having been a dedicated junior player and volunteer for the past year, Megโ€™s hard work has officially paid off at just 16.
We are so proud to have her assisting our U11s and U12s as a qualified coach. Amazing achievement, well done! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘

What a match at County League Round 2!
It felt more like a Regional 2 clash than a league fixture.
We knew it would be physical, and our girls rose to the challenge immediately, taking the lead in the first quarter. It was goal-for-goal throughout, with momentum shifting on both sides. After a last-minute injury left us with one shooter for 53 minutes, Dart capitalized on a tough 8-minute stretch to pull ahead. Despite being down by 10 in the final quarter, we clawed our way back with brilliant defensive turnovers and incredible heart to finish 48-41. I am so proud of this squad for standing tall against a team stacked with Regional 2 players.
Huge shout out to Erin for stepping up at GA, and to our young guns Anna and Georgie for handling this level like pros. Weโ€™re already looking forward to the rematch and coming back even stronger. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ช

What an incredible morning of Junior League! The sun was shining and the netball was fierce. Our U16 Force remain undefeated with two dominant wins: 17-3 against Queens Gold and 20-6 against Sidmouth. The U16 Surge fought hard in a goal-for-goal 11-12 loss against Sidmouth before securing a strong 19-9 victory over HNC Hunters. A huge shoutout to our U14 squad, who showed so much grit and heart against some tough competitionโ€”we canโ€™t wait to see this young team grow! Well done to all our athletes for a fantastic morning of sport. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’—

Huge news! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ
We are so proud to announce that two of our athletes have been selected for the England Mixed National long squad for the first time in our club's history.

The EMMNA mixed team is set to face New Zealand in a historical three-match test series.

Dominic Ascough has made an incredible impact since joining the netball circuit in January. From his first match at the Menโ€™s Winter Champs to his dominant performances in the defensive circle and his impressive shooting stats at Nationals, Dom has truly earned this spot.

We are also thrilled to see Apisai Sausaubitu back in the England squad!
Sau first took to court in a Devon Dynamites team back in 2023 in our clubs debut match and recently came back into our National league squad whilst also continuing to represent Army Netball.
Sau was part of the Thorns programme back in 2023 and continues to be a formidable force on court with his incredible strength and game-changing intercepts.

Congratulations to both players on this massive achievement! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

1st County league match of the season and the team smashed it!
Coming up against a strong and experienced Teign Raiders side, the 1st Q was very much goal for goal as both teams settled into the match .
2nd Q and with tight defence and fluid attack work we pushed ahead to a 12 Goal lead.
Half time and we were able to ring in some changes and bring in our u16's who totally stepped up to this new level with ease.
Some tight circle defence from Raiders kept us on our toes but patience was the key in attack today.

Winning 55-29.

Today we did a job, but lots more to give moving in to our next match.

Well Done Erin for opposition POM.! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ช

Today saw Devon Dynamites History being made!
Our 1st junior team stepped on court in the Exeter Junior league.

1st match v ENC pink Rockets
Exeter started strong with some great shooting and we looked a bit nervy, meaning ENC went 5-0 up by half time. But with a slight rotation of players , the girls had a strong 2nd half and drew with a really slick Exeter side. Final score 9-4 loss. But a great 2nd half.

2nd match v TTNC sphinx. Taking their momentum from the previous match the girls started strong with some incredible defence from olivia and iska and shooting from Darcy and Sienna, which led to us being in front the whole match. 4-1 win .

What a great 1st outing as an u12 team !

So proud of the whole squad!

Mixed League vs. Warwick Uni

We went all the way to Warwick on Sunday for our next mixed match against a young and enthusiastic Warwick Uni Team.

With only 4 ladies available, we had to be versatile! Clare Elsley stepped into the defensive circle and Kelly Flook played GA for the first time in years! We started strong and kept that momentum for the whole 60 minutes.

Our team defense was really strong, and that got us a comfortable 42-22 win in the end.

Big shout-out to Bex Peperell for OPOM and Lexi Beale for Players POM. You both did some fantastic attacking work and shooter feeds! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ
