We are honoured to be hosting a wrestling seminar taught by Coach Esmaeli, one of UK’s and Europe’s influential wrestling coaches and has coached wrestling to many greatest BJJ players of all times, the likes of Leo Viera.

His exposure to wrestling started from a very young age taught by his father. Coach Saeed’s unconventional approach fuses wrestling, psychology and dance, drawing on his credentials as an internationally renowned Olympic wrestling coach, performance psychologist and therapist and years as a professional dancer in Bristol group The Floor Technicians.

This unique approach of ‘infused psychology’ has benefited many athletes and hobbyists alike, which led him to creating a not-for-profit organisation, “Wrestle for Humanity”.

His charitable work has earned him the Points of Light Award given by UK Prime Minister, which is awarded to inspirational volunteers.

Coach Saeed is a gifted individual who can unlock your grappling potential and provides you with the tools to grow on and off the mat.

Marina and I had the pleasure of sharing the mat yesterday with Mark Ormrod

Marina jiujitsu journey started 4 months ago. We have been working to adapt her techniques of which has she has successfully risen to the challenge.

Everyone's journey is different and thank you to Mark for sharing your experience.

Jiujitsu can and will benefit anyone who wants to give it a go no matter where you start we can find something that works for you.

Principle is defined as a basic idea or rule that explains or controls how something happens or works.

When focusing on the principles of jiu jitsu, you create numerous combination of techniques to address any grappling scenario. This approach will allow you to pick up techniques quickly, grow and develop your own style of grappling. By allowing yourself to enjoy the learning process, your love for jiu jitsu will only grow.
